Myself and my partner stayed for 2 nights as our first stop on a Scotland roadtrip, and we couldn't recommend it enough. The location is fantastic and Keith's recommendations did not steer us wrong once. The room was really clean and the breakfast was amazing!

The Guesthouse is walkable to shopping areas in Largs, and the pier if catching ferries or the paddle steamer Waverley. Hosts are amazing and even parked my car for me.

This is a beautiful guest house that is very close to the railway station and the waterfront. Ferries go to Great Cumbrae regularly where there are lovely walks and scenery. The room although small had everything you need. The shower was shared with another room but that was no problem. The breakfast was wonderful, fresh fruit, homemade bread, cooked breakfast. Keith was very welcoming and made you feel at home. Definitely would recommend.

A Perfect Stay at St. Leonard's Guest House I had the pleasure of staying at St. Leonard's Guest House in Largs, Scotland while my daughter played lacrosse for England at the National Sports Centre. From the moment I arrived, Keith, the proprietor, made me feel truly at home with his warmth and hospitality. Breakfast at St. Leonard's is a delightful experience—starting with fresh-cut fruit and yogurt, followed by a warm, buttery croissant, and finishing with a delicious, hearty British breakfast. Every morning felt like a treat! Beyond the excellent meals, Keith was incredibly helpful in guiding me on my daily activities, leading me to an unforgettable hike to the highest point on the Isle of Cumbrae. His local knowledge added so much to my trip, ensuring I made the most of my time in Largs. The guest house itself was immaculate, and my room matched the description perfectly—plus some wonderful extras like bathrobes and slippers. The sink, kettle, and refrigerator were thoughtful touches that made my stay even more comfortable. Its location on the edge of town meant that everything was within easy walking distance, and the convenience of a grocery store right across the street was a bonus. I cannot say enough about how fabulous my stay at St. Leonard's Guest House was. I left feeling like family, thanks to Keith's exceptional hospitality. If you're visiting Largs, this is the place to stay! Thank you so much, Keith!

We booked St Leonard’s for an overnight stay as we were attending a wedding locally. Our initial communication was great with the host allowing us an early admission in order to get to the wedding on time and offered to run us down to the venue. As it turned out when we arrived there was no parking available so we arranged we would take the car to the venue and our gracious host would run us down in the morning to pick it up. We were shown around the room and the facilities within which included a small fridge with milk and chilled water plus tea and coffee facilities. The room was cosy with a comfortable bed which we both later had a great sleep in and also noted ear plugs available if the traffic noise was going to be a concern( not for us). The en suite is also compact but plenty of room again for us with toiletries ( shampoo and shower gel) supplied with plush large towels. The bedroom was also very nicely decorated. At breakfast there was a selection of cereal, fresh fruit yogurt and home made bread and a cooked breakfast available which was all well made. We honestly couldn’t have asked for more and we would definitely come here again.
