The sunset is super beautfil, with the infinity pool & enjoy with foot spa. The enterainment room is great with table tennis, golf, snooker, table football, kids play room, music room. And special event on weekend. Will come again. Highly recommended. Just a suggestion to improve the food quality in the buffet.

I am repeater. We stayed last summer. Very nice facilities.

Staff service is poor

The hotel has a nice view of the sea and room is spacious and clean. However the hotel staff could be better trained in some basic English to advise on key tourist spots and access advice.

a very nice hotel near the beach area of shirahama. we both enjoy the japanese room and nice view in surrounding area. the onsen inside the hotels are perfect and the entertainment floor is very interesting!

Stayed here for one night. Our room was the western style with an ocean view. The view was amazing. The inside of the room seemed a little outdated though; and there was a strong smell to it. For that reason alone, I wouldn’t stay here again. It could just be my room though. And during my breakfast, I witnessed, with my own eyes, a staff member picked up an orange colored dessert item that had fallen off a serving plate, off the counter, AND PUT IT BACK ON THE SERVING PLATE! Unbelievable!

A little expensive for me but the location and services were excellent.

We had a nice stay at this hotel. It's outdoor hot spring bathtubs are well located, facing the sea. The room is really spacious and with good sea view.

The spa is excellent!

Hotel was big, room was spacious but dated. Stayed there for its onsen specialty as they used big plum buckets for spa purpose. There were only 2 restaurants in the nearby Fisherman's Wharf - Italian and Japanese. We chose the Japanese and had set menu because there was not much choice. Food was standard and portion was good enough for us.

It was great for having hot spring in a wooden bucket especially with the stunning ocean view!!!

Nice hot spring!

Shirahama is a great seaside onsen town. This hotel is placed on a cliff overlooking the sea. Great view on the western side. The best thing is the outside rotenburo (onsen) which are giant barrels overlooking the sea. I think there's also steps down to a sea pool/onsen but that was closed. The only very slightly negative side is that the hotel is very old, and the carpeting and fixtures in the rooms are really Really worn out. It wasn't really a problem, and it wasn't dirty, but just know what to expect.

They are not allowed my friend's daughter come in the hotel who is not accommdated in the hotel.

Overall is comfortable but the toilet has smell come out and the ventilation is bad.

The spa service is not free for single or family travelers. The dishes are delicious. There are some bad smell inside the toilet of guest room. The sea view of the hot spring is very good and beautiful.

Fabulous seaview and hot spring but a bit too old, need some re-construction

Though the hotel is old, it is large and clean, easily accessible by local bus (the bus stop is just outside the entrance). As the hotel is just next to seashore, you can have nice seaview from the window. The breakfast buffet and Japanese full dinner set are very good, the sashimi and hotpot are very delicious. At night, you can go to onsen at the basement, one indoor pool and a few outside onsen (using the big wine barrels as bath tubes).
