The twin room we had was fine if basic. Bedding was clean but there was no mattress protector and there were two old pillows squashed into one pillowcase. The beds were small- child’s width.
One issue was the location - lots of drunks walking past and people taking drugs on the benches over the road where the property looked out to the sea. The outside area was shoddy and uninviting and uncomfortable to sit in due to the drunks walking by and shouting obscenities. Also chairs and tables cheap and right by the entrance - not private.
The breakfast was very poor and not worth the £30 that we had to pay for 2 people. No healthy option such as fresh fruit, Greek yoghurt, oats etc. The cooked breakfast was cheap products poorly cooked. Hard poached eggs, rubbery bacon cheap sliced bread. Left most of it. The mini croissants and small random bowl of walnuts were nice but walnuts should have been covered due to so many people having nut allergies. The cereal was child sized packets from a multipack. The coffee was served in a cafetière but tasted like weak instant coffee and on inspection there were no coffee grounds under the press. So very misleading. Had to ask for water.
The room cost £180 without breakfast so not a cheap option. They need to lower the price or improve the offerings . I will not be returning and would not recommend.
