Staff was great, food was great at the bar,and breakfast was good also

The hotel is the best that Red Lake Ontario has to offer. It’s pretty basic as hotels go but it delivers it well for medium expectations. Great for those transitioning to many of the local fishing camps. Breakfast is provided but again not likely to be on the Michelin list of top rated eateries. No one will go away hungry unless someone elects to go to the Tim Hortons at the next property over. There is a newer non affiliated pub attached to the hotel offering bar food and adult beverages. We did not sample the offerings. We will stay again as it is the “Best Hotel that Red Lake Ontario has to offer”.

Decent hotel for the area.

Excellent motel with small restaurant now. Rooms are clean but mattresses were very soft. My biggest complaint is the price. It jumps significantly yearly and I think it is major overpriced. However, not enough competition which is the real problem.

Great hotel, clean rooms, friendly staff!

Upon arrival the elevator was broken. The room was ok. I booked two queen bed rooms - one turned out to be a business suite and one was a standard room. Not sure why the difference in room types when they were booked simultaneously. The new restaurant and bar in the building was a surprise and fun.

Will stay again

The staff are excellent and promptly address our concerns. The room I booked had a sofa pull out and queen bed. When we entered the room there was a damp, musty odor. Upon pulling out the sofa bed there was popcorn in the bed and the mattress was stained and there was no bedding to make up the sofa bed. The staff quickly addressed my concerns and upgraded me to a business suite for which I was very grateful.

Would be nice if they get a hot tub or pool

As usual everything is great, nothing to complain, i have been staying this hotel since 2011.

Really wish they would have actual cutlery and plates for breakfast and not use plastic.
