The room showed some signs of age but was very well cleaned. The beds were clean and comfortable as were the linens. The towels were newer and smelled fresh and clean as did the shampoo, conditioner, body wash, lotion, etc. This was a great stay The restaurant was also really good. We ate several times. The breakfast buffet was fantastic as we were late night appetizers, cocktails, and the weekend brunch. One of our two rooms was not ready upon check-in in the staff granted I’ll a complementary late checkout as a result which exceeded our expectations. As someone used to HVAC in hotel rooms having just a small sliver of the window open for ventilation was a bit hard to get used to, but that’s the norm in just about every building in hotel in Bogota. The street in front of the hotel closes down for bicycles and pedestrians. I believe every week but not quite sure. I thought this was kind of a cool thing although you should be aware of it if you’re trying to catch an Uber right in front you won’t be able to. You’ll have to go around the corner a few blocks. Super friendly staff highly recommend.
