Charming historic hotel in very convenient location! Friendly and helpful staff and generous breakfast included. Comfortable bed and pillows; air conditioning is great. Everything I was looking for in a classy palace from the 1500s. Easy, wide stairs. Shower is small but not a problem for us. Taxi is 3 min walk from hotel. Loved the quaint, historic charm and will definitely be back when returning to Rome. Excellent experience!!

I do like the room I didn’t like area very crowded and the fact no elevator is terrible we have to leave our luggages at the lobby because is like 100 steps to get to the room also breakfast is not good and they put it at the room

The only great two things about it was the convenient location in the city and only one nice front desk girl, Jessica so helpful and kind. The other young lady was really not a good fit for the place.

Nice location easy to walk to restaurants and shops. Not to far from major attraction areas. If stairs are not your thing I definitely recommend asking for a lower floor. I was pleasantly surprised by the size of our triple room and the walk in closet dressing area. Only call out we had was the vaulted ceiling shared with adjacent room meant we could hear everything they said as I am sure they could hear us!

I had a very nice stay! Location was amazing - on a quiet side street right off of a very lively part of town with bars, restaurants, shopping, and sights. Wish the AC had worked a little better, but overall a great hotel.

The hotel is perfectly located about 10 minutes walk from Piazza Navonna, Campo di Fiore and the Pantheon - it is down a quiet street with lots of great cafes and restaurants nearby. However I would struggle to call this a hotel and the rooms are tiny and, in my case, have virtually no daylight (see photo below taken at 11am. It is hazy because my phone had to take it over 3 seconds) and there is no communal space or breakfast option. There is no lift - there are 92 steps to the top floor rooms.

Great location but my husband got 15 bites on him, which we believe were from bed bugs😫 They were all over his arms & back. The bed was hard & the 2 pillows were not supportive.

Overall the location and staff were very nice. There are so many nice restaurants in the area too (Mastrociccia right down the road was our favorite). The breakfast that gets brought to your room was a very nice touch (even more nice when you are on the 4th floor). Only critique would be that the shower was a tight fit (I’m 6 foot, about 190lbs).

Great location, its centrally located with the vatican, palazzo navano, trevi fountain and the coliseum all walkable distances. We were on the 4th floor with a balcony. There is no elevator but the climb is worth the uniqueness of the accommodations.

We enjoyed the residential feel of the area. The restaurants were in abundance and some actually very good. Only a few minute walk to Piazza Navona was a plus. A lot, if not all of the taxi drivers, would not drop us off on the narrow one way street. Most would pick us up at the hotel and only one would not. This is not an accessible hotel and my 75 year old mother had to go up 70 steps to get to the room. Email communication demonstrated a lack of understanding and explanation of the number of steps. The room is basic and was a comfortable stay. There was charm and character to the building.

I love the hotel because if the history, its proximity to sites we like to visit in Rome and because the staff take great care to make you comfortable and cared for. This was our 2nd time staying at Teatro Pace and we will return again!

We enjoyed our stay at Hotel Teatro Pace. The staff were helpful and kind. Our room was tiny, but we spent our days exploring Rome so we didn’t mind the small room. The room had character and was clean, perfect for us.

The Hotel's location is absolutely wonderful and unparalleled - 2 minute walk to Piazza Navona, but on a quiet side street, with excellent restaurants literally next door to hotel and in the surrounding streets - close and walkable to everything. Front desk staff were always helpful and spoke English comfortably. My top floor room was clean and comfortable. Be aware there are 90 steps to the top floor and no elevator, so ask for a lower room without balcony if you don't want to climb the stairs.
