The only positive aspect of Jasmine Palace is its location. The property is close to the beach and can be reached within walking distance. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end.
The overall stay experience was extremely disappointing. The place feels more like a dharamshala than a hotel. The room was messy and poorly maintained. The bed quality was bad, and the pillows, blankets, and towels appeared unwashed, with towels even having holes in them. Basic comfort and cleanliness were completely missing.
The restaurant and hygiene standards are very poor. Water bottles were kept openly, attracting mosquitoes and spiders. Cups had dead spiders inside, which clearly indicates a serious lack of hygiene and cleanliness. This is unacceptable for any accommodation, especially one catering to tourists.
Food quality was just average, nothing special.
However, the biggest issue was food availability. Do not expect to order anything after lunch and before dinner. During this period, the kitchen is effectively shut. When we tried ordering noodles in the evening, we received a blunt response saying they do not prepare food at that time. There was no effort to accommodate guests.
Overall, the stay was not worth the money or the time. Poor hygiene, uncomfortable rooms, unprofessional service, and lack of basic hospitality made this an experience not worth remembering.
Strongly not recommended.
