Stay Period: 31st January to 01st February 2026 The only positive aspect of Jasmine Palace is its location. The property is close to the beach and can be reached within walking distance. Unfortunately, that is where the positives end. The overall stay experience was extremely disappointing. The place feels more like a dharamshala than a hotel. The room was messy and poorly maintained. The bed quality was bad, and the pillows, blankets, and towels appeared unwashed, with towels even having holes in them. Basic comfort and cleanliness were completely missing. The restaurant and hygiene standards are very poor. Water bottles were kept openly, attracting mosquitoes and spiders. Cups had dead spiders inside, which clearly indicates a serious lack of hygiene and cleanliness. This is unacceptable for any accommodation, especially one catering to tourists. Food quality was just average, nothing special. However, the biggest issue was food availability. Do not expect to order anything after lunch and before dinner. During this period, the kitchen is effectively shut. When we tried ordering noodles in the evening, we received a blunt response saying they do not prepare food at that time. There was no effort to accommodate guests. Overall, the stay was not worth the money or the time. Poor hygiene, uncomfortable rooms, unprofessional service, and lack of basic hospitality made this an experience not worth remembering. Strongly not recommended.

The property is almost 100 meter away from the Kovalam and Hawa Beach, the shops are close by so buying basic stuff shouldn't be an issue. The hotel is very old so it is unreasonable to expect modern amenities. However, the place is reasonably good especially the pool and the over all ambience. The beds and bedding is comfortable and the rooms are spacious. The staff is friendly and cooperative, no doubt about that. The breakfast served was good with almost everything to choose from but the ambience of the restaurant needs some face lift. Also, the restaurant operates only during breakfast and dinner so you can't expect to be served at other times. But you can order food from outside if required. Expect some insects around given the location of the resort.

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days and unfortunately had a very bad experience. The bedsheets were not clean and the bed itself was not comfortable. Basic amenities were missing from the room — there was no kettle and other mandatory essentials were not provided. The AC was not working properly and outer sound very loudly, the AC remote was not functioning, and none of the electrical plugs in the room were working, which was extremely inconvenient. Overall, the maintenance and service standards were very poor. I would not recommend this hotel unless they significantly improve their facilities and housekeeping.

Stayed here last month and had a wonderful experience. Rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-kept. Staff was polite, helpful, and always attentive. The pool was a highlight—very clean and perfect for relaxing. Loved the peaceful ambience around the pool area. Highly recommended for a refreshing and comfortable stay!

Decent stay, but lacks modern amenities The stay itself was okay and the overall experience was fine, but several areas need attention. The food was underwhelming and definitely has room for improvement in terms of quality and variety. In the room, the towels felt old and worn out, which doesn't give a great impression. Additionally, the TV still uses a traditional cable connection; in this day and age, it was disappointing not to have access to YouTube or OTT platforms. With a few upgrades to the dining and tech, this could be a much better property.
