Photos are not super accurate. It has an RV park area, a camping area as well as the units. The unit itself had a small kitchen which would have been nice if we were there long, a bedroom with 3 twin beds and when you walk in, that also was a bedroom with a double (really 2 twins together with a sheet over them). The bathroom was ok - not super clean (ants on the floor) and the shower drain did no such thing. We used all the towels to soak up the flooded floor because there is nothing in the bathroom floor for that. Dinner was really good. Breakfast was some croissants that when we went 30 min after it opened were 80% gone and after sitting there for 10 min were never filled back up so we left without eating. That was pretty disappointing. The beach is nice. That was the best part of the place and we were only able to use it long enough to get some photos before we had to check out to go to work.

The grounds and plants are quite pretty and interesting. The beach is massive without weeds or debris. Our room was TINY! Barely big enough for a queen bed. Scuff marks lined the wall. The front desk staff was helpful though.

Came here in the pitch dark night and thought I was in a horror film. Not a place to stay for one night, if I been here for maybe a week I'd have a better impression.

Offer on sites like Expedia GROSSLY MISLEADING. Behind tatty beach chalets, it's an old campsite patronised mainly by 99% poor Italians (pay less than conned foreigners like us. MUST BE CLOSED DOWN OR REFURBISHED. Advised by one worker: is now just a cash cow for small rich family owners who bully their staff and pay off another family. DISGUSTING for many reasons. A FEW EXAMPLES: * No room service *NO fan or aircon/ sleep difficult * blood, faeces, semen stained bedding, pillows, toilet area *Rotten door frames with splinters * Insects IN/under bed * Split ineffective mosquito window screens. *Food terrible despite amusing waters *Weird chef describes her stinking rotten Pork balls and old fish as 'amazing', *Pasta not cooked properly (two minutes-very hard/dry in middle. Several meals rejected *Slatted wood walkway to beach very dangerous/screws sticking up to cut feet, *Overhanging asbestos roof cuts heads *Wine terrible. * Reception staff forced by owners to defend place or be sacked *Filth on beach includes dead stinking poison jellyfish, split plastic bottles, tens of thousands of cigarette butts, used tampons and condoms * Private beach NOT PRIVATE/public wander on/give lifeguards takes backhanders *Tiny swimming pool in very dangerous/excessive bleach and cleaning agents used. Many broken tiles and green algae around edge * Feral cats scratch if approached. MUST BE CLOSED DOWN. DO NOT GO. OTHER NON ITALIANS WE SPOKE TO AGREE WITH ALL SAID HERE. THE PLACE IS A CON

Old and rundown; isolated. Stuck eating at resort, food not good. The airport taxi driver didn’t even know where it was. It’s a campground mainly with a few small rundown rooms. Beach was beautiful but resort very disappointing.

Property location to the beach, city, and airport was great. Property itself is tired and older. It needs many updates. Staff was pleasant and courteous.

I'm going to divide this review into three parts; Location, staff and finally the room it self. Finally I'll give a grade from 1 to 10. Location is a little out side of Catania, and literally a stone throw from the Beach. Bus tickets can be bought at the reception, and the bus ride is, depending on traffic, ranging from 10-40 minutes, and can be quite packed during peak hours. The beach is beautiful but packed with locals during the weekends, so take this under consideration if your one that likes a more quiet and spacious beach. The Staff is incredibly helpful and smiling, so they get a big + from me, for supplying good and comforting service. Not everyone speaks English very well, but they will do their best to help. The bar/restaurant is staffed from early morning till 11, and the staff there is also very helpful, though the food isn't very good and overpriced. Don't come for the food, the breakfast is mediocre at best, and quite small, coffee based beverage, croissant and some toast. The rooms themselves are in quite terrible condition and at a bare minimum. I wouldn't recommend staying for longer than a few days. This is NOT a hotel, so they wont clean the room on a daily basis, so keep this in mind. The bathrooms were also a quite horrendous, with limescale and a clogged drain. Location: Beautiful. Staff: Super friendly. Room: Quite poor. This oxymoron of an experience is hard to judge, but for shorter stays, it is perfect, but longer stays, are not. 4/10

Right on the beach. No shops nearby but you can use the bus, their shuttle or hire a car. Staff were wonderful and couldn’t do enough for me. Reception was open 24h. Cooking facilities not great but their food was reasonably prices with good, substantial portions. The complex is tired and could do with refurbishment but my room was adequate and my window overlooked the beach. The sound of the waves at night was soothing. I went out of season (one week away) so the swimming pool was closed and the breakfast was poor, undoubtedly these would be there in the height of their season. This place is in the middle of nowhere, which suited me as I was glad to be away from civilisation, on my own. Will be returning there for some more time away from the rest of the world!

We enjoyed our stay though the complex needs a good refurbishment. Our room was 1 minute away from the beach. Breakfast was ok- coffee, doughnut, granita! Staff was very friendly.

We wanted to wake up in the morning and within 60 seconds take a swim in the Mediterranean, and we got it. Our room was right on the beach and we loved it. It is not a luxury resort, and with that in mind we definitely enjoyed it. The staff is amazingly friendly. The restaurant is reasonably priced and very good. The pool is a great option. The open sea in spectacular and the beach is sandy, not rocky. Adjacent to it is the La Capannino, a much busier beach (if you want to see hot bodies), with a gay club on Friday, which we enjoyed. Internet available only at hotspots such as reception and restaurant (for a fee).
