The hotel is conveniently located near the train station, only $1 train ride to the Sydney Opera House, close to the University of Syd and several other attractions. However, because it is near the airport, the noise of the planes is very loud, the hotel description is not clear so I thought there was a private bathroom but in fact I had to use a shared bathroom. The receptionist was friendly and enthusiastic, the check-in procedure was quick.

The staff here are so kind and friendly. Kathy was an absolute angel, she booked me an Uber to the hotel and even upgraded my room! The building is old but well maintained, clean, and cozy. Excellent transport links, as it’s only a 5-min walk from Stanmore train station. Highly recommend this place, well worth the price.
