This hotel and their staff are great. Very convenientfor geothermal baths and Gerês in general. Regreted not having booked additional days. Will come back for sure.

The property was spotless and comfortable. The staff were friendly and helpful. I would say that a more detailed initial orientation to the spa and baths would have been helpful. We actually had no idea as to how things work, where exactly the facilities are, etc. Otherwise, this is a great location. We hope to return!

They couldn’t find our reservation when we first checked in, despite my having the hotels.com checking number. But they eventually disbarred about 10 minutes, and all was fine from there on! Ask for a corner room (216 or 316). We had a mineral water hot tub that we thought would be side by side - but we were in two separate rooms side by side! Wasn’t worth the cost but was an interesting experience.

This hotel advertise itself is a thermal mineral spa That was completely not true there was no thermal mineral water to be had The receptionist was clueless she had bad service she was rude and how these people that a four star rating I never know When I arrived I had a called him five times before they answer their phone It took me a very long time to sign in normally a hotel will ask for a copy of your passport and then sign you in. They had us fill out a form that took a half an hour before we could check in it was ridiculous We went up to our room and you had to go down five stairs to get to your bedroom it was a very dangerous place to be I called the front desk but they did not answer so I had to get in the elevator and go downstairs and talk to the clueless receptionist. I then went back up to my room call HOTELS.COM and have them find me another hotel in the area which was very good and HOTELS.COM treated me very well I would take this hotel completely off your list as they are very disrespectful to the customer they do not communicate in a four-star hotel should speak English wall to wall

Location was good. Few amenities available in room and especially spa. No shampoo, tissue, cream etc... we booked the swimming pool and massage. Once we were done we took a shower and, except for body wash there were no products to get ready. This is the first time I have experienced this when booking thermal spa and bath treatments. However, the massage was excellent.

Their staff Christina was very helpful and assisted us in every way possible.

Very nice hotel with friendly staff. I didn't like some noise during the night because of electrical panel.

Excellent short stay in this wonderful hotel. Rooms were spacious, even though we'd had an extra bed put in. Everything about this hotel gives you a sense of confidence in the hotel. The lounge is large and comfortable, the bar is well equipped and service is speedy. The restaurant is first rate. This is an excellent hotel hidden away in the mountains.

The room is very comfortable and clean. It's only worth not having a minibar. Wonderfull breakfast. Staff very friendly.
