Good Hotel excellent location and free secure parking for motorbikes

Great hotel and great staff

The hotel is very easy to find as it is on the bank of the river Meuse as you enter the town of Givet from the south. There is private parking to the rear which is accessible through the nearby public car park. The proprietor locks the gates at night so the vehicle is very secure. We came in through the back door from the car park. It is small family run hotel and we were greeted by the proprietor who sorted our room for us. The hotel does not have a restaurant, but serves a very good breakfast with a choice of hot and cold items, Everything looks very fresh, with buffet items served from a chilled cabinet with doors. The front of the hotel has a bar which was very busy on Sunday as it was warm and sunny. There did not appear to be much choice of restaurants in the town. We ate at the Brasserie de l'Hotel de Ville on the Saturday which was very good and very busy but this was closed on the Sunday. The Auberge de la Tour is next door to the hotel but much more expensive, but the standard was very good indeed.

Great stop over and great price. Been here a few times now. Nice town near river.

Great little hotel in cute little town. Desk host didn't speak much English at all, but we made it work, and he was very very sweet. WARNING - when we booked it, we thought use of the bicycles was included with our stay, but it was not. It was E30 for 2 bikes for a day. Not bad, but just seemed a little "nickle and dime-y."

Hotel much better than we had expected. Setting next to river and old towers extremely good and nice strolls through town, Manager and assistant always helpful. Breakfast quite reasonable and well presented. Good sitting areas outside to front and back. Noisy at times at front due to lorries, A pleasant area, too many trees but you cannot have everything.

Very good service overall especially from grandma and granddad at this well run family hotel.

Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Maas. Der Blick vom Zimmerfenster auf den Fluss ist wunderschön. Da die an der Maas entlang führende Straße vor allem nachts von dem einen oder anderen LKW befahren wird, kann es schon laut werden. Es gibt eine Terrasse vor und eine hinter dem Haus. Hier kann man gemütlich sitzen. Die Besitzerin des Hotels ist sehr freundlich und es macht Spaß, sich mit ihr auf Englisch zu unterhalten.

Hôtel bien placé au bord de la rivière, environnement agréable. Chambre a décoration datée mais propre. Literie a remplacer très inconfortable.
