The room was dirty and the guy at the front desk was not polite. I never coming back.

Everything was great. Staff needs to focus on customer service

Un hotel sin lujos pero que cumple con lo esperado por la relación precio/calidad. Cama cómoda, desayuno bastante variado, estacionamiento incluído en el precio (es en el 5to piso de un parking ubicado a la vuelta del hotel por la misma manzana, es cerrado y con vigilancia las 24 horas, un poco reducido el espacio para maniobrar, si es un vehículo largo, cómo una SUV hay que tener mucho cuidado de no tocar las esquinas y rayar).

Although the location was great, the room was kinda small with just a small desk and basically the place to put your luggage. Luckily, I was there only for a few days (two) so, had not much to handle.

El checkin fue rápido. El personal amable. La habitación presentaba signos de desgaste y poco mantenimiento. Las sábanas presentaban signos de vejez al igual que las toallas que casi tenían huecos. La ducha tenía un caño roto que hacía que el agua saliera hacia la parte del lavabo y mojara todo el baño. No hay secador de cabello ni shampoo/acondicionador. La habitación tenía olor a humedad. La cama no era cómoda. El desayuno estuvo bien, había café, jugo, frutas, manteca, tortas, bizcochos y alguna cosa más. Para una noche estuvo bien. Estacionamiento incluido en el costo (es en otro lugar a media cuadra)

Very nice property, a little bit old, door was hard to close and lock, key to turn on the light was kind of broken, but nothing unsafe or big deal. You can not beat that price

Old, worn out towels and bathroom mat, extremely poor breakfast, etc, etc. Stay away, there are many better hotels in the same area for just a little more money. The only good service was the cleaning service and ,sometimes, the front desk people.

The overall experience was a complete disappointment, the sofas at the entrance are pilling, the employees at the front desk simple don't care, the room pictures are dissaving

I booked a room for two and then the hotel staff told me that it was only for one person. Room was extremely small and very uncomfortable the room was cold all night long because they had a window open in the bathroom. The cable system was on and off while watching movies or news impossible to follow up with anything

Recomendable to the price but weekend breakfast service very lacking.

Hotel close to downtown and main avenue in Montevideo.

Good location, clean hotel with modern rooms. Breakfast had lots of options, although the coffee was terrible, drink tea. Staff spoke English and were fairly helpful. Wifi worked well.

We have been regular clients of this hotel and keep returning because the staff working there make the difference. Excellent service from the front desk at all times, day or night. Cordial room service (housekeeping) quick to attend to any request, however, the only downside to the stay is the breakfast menu. We believe that the ladies attending to the breakfast bar do what they can to attend to demands with the best intention, however, their intentions do not comply with the "Australian Food Safety Standards" we are used to. Croissants are not fresh, fruit is not always fresh. Scrambled eggs without the burners to keep warm in tray and in several occasions topping the tray with fresh eggs on top of old eggs.An untrained maid assisting breakfast staff while replenishing food, without gloves, cleared an insect from inside the fruit salad bowl with the bare finger, then continued with her job. Staff in this kitchen need to be trained, gloves to be worn at all times when handling food and different ones when cleaning tables.Glasses need to be dried out and without any water marks placed for guest use. Small details that those who travel will notice. Having said all this, we'll return in the near future because the staff make us feel like home, they are friendly and attentive, as for breakfast, cross the road and buy freshly made croissants, return to breakfast bar and get the coffee.

Good place

This was a regular hotel in the downtown area. The staff was really friendly and the breakfast really good! :) I loved it! The location seemed to be fine, as well. The rooms were not that comfortable, though. The bathroom was very small, so it was a little uncomfortable to take a shower. It seemed kind of old. There was a restaurant next to to the hotel, and we got a complimentary drink because we stayed at Hotel California. That was nice! ;) The elevator seemed a little old because of the noise and it closed really quickly.

The pictures are not what you get. Good two start hotel, only for people looking for a place to sleep.
