Excellent stay. Had an amazing time. The only thing I would advise is the buffet at breakfast and dinner seemed repetitive. There was very less vegetarian choices.

We stayed here as a couple for 3 nights specifically attending for a friend's wedding, half board (breakfast & dinner). The hotel itself looks like it's located amongst other nearby hotels/resorts/residential and a beach. We didn't go to the beach as it wasn't private to the hotel and extremely busy, parasols everywhere (we travelled during the summer holiday). Hotel and grounds are large, clean and modern. The venue for the wedding itself was beautifully set amongst the grounds. It's still within earshot of the main swimming pool, but not enough to distract the ceremony. There was a good variety of hot and cold foods for breakfast and dinner. The layout of the food lacked a bit of logic eg. cereals nowhere near milk, bread miles away from a toaster etc. We ate most meals in the hotel, however they could have made an effort to change the decor/ambience a bit, otherwise it's the same large restaurant for breakfast and dinner. Staff were friendly and attentive, but could have done more to intro how breakfast and dinner works on arrival to the restaurant. Expect to pay extras when you wouldn't think. There's no iron in the room (so wore a creased shirt to the wedding) and charging you to use the modern gym of the two they have (unless you pay to use the spa). Massages there were good.

The hotel was really nice with access to the beach and nice pools to accommodate all ages. It was disappointing that at dinner, which was included in the package, we had to pay for drinks like orange juice, which wasn't even fresh from the fruit but of industrial taste. The food was ok but lacked the traditional Portuguese cuisine, so definitely there are improvements to be done there.

I didn’t like the hotel employees they weren’t that friendly and the breakfast also wasn’t good to b 5* didn’t have much food variety. Too bad! I regret expending all that money there, plus the Italian restaurant they were so rude with us, because the food i asked for spaghetti carbonara was too salty ! Honestly the worst hotel experience I have had in my entire life !!!

We specially loved the 5 mins walk to the beach! The diferent pools for adults and kids different ages, activities for the kids. The food was outstanding too. Last but not the least the staff service was expectional, particularly I woukd like to thank to Neuza Mendez (I hope I remember her name right) she was really good with us in the restaurant taking into account my daughter dietary requirements and Vanessa who was the lady in charge of the kids activities, always finding a way to engage with them and ensuring they participated in the activities. Thanks to both of you specially, you made our staying even more pleasant.

Overall we gave a 4 out of 5. 1. Room - On the first evening, our superior room air condition/AC was not working and we had ants in the room. We spent few hrs trying to get this issue sorted and then the duty manager Elia gave us an upgrade to a club room. The views from our previous room were spectacular, the club room view was not that good and we could see the large metal roof of from our balcony. We accepted this, as the hotel was full. We got free spa access which came with the upgrade. I am glad they tried to fix the problem for us and we had a room change. But we lost one whole evening of stay to this. 2. Breakfast - The breakfast was ok, coffee from machine was terrible and there was no option to order coffee, the hostess declined this request. The milk had lots of water. Juices were not fresh, they tasted like sugary canned juice. 3. Beach and Spa - beach is nearby, easily accessible. Spa facilities were superb! We used the sauna jacuzzi and pool everyday.

The all inclusive food was absolutely awful. The hot food was mostly cold. Most of the main courses were so tough or overdone that they could not be chewed. Only the salads, fruits and desserts were edible.

A very nice resort. The only downside was the dinner buffets which were hit and miss from the kitchen.
