I stayed at the Dwarika’s for three nights. The property is unique and so beautiful. My room was large and well-appointed with bottled water, clean towels and snacks.

Everything was lovely! The staff is courteous, helpful and welcoming. We arrived on an early flight and they treated us as full guests from the moment we walked in the door. It’s an exceptional experience!

Truly a gem - remarkable staff, wonderful food, and perfect amenities. I was in a suite - it was perfect for my stay. I could not be happier - after hiking in Bhutan (also wonderful in a different way) for days, this was such a relaxing delight!

The Dwarika is an oasis. The spa and gym facilities are out of this world. It is a living cultural museum with wood carvings and art and traditional but fancy local cuisine. It was exactly what I needed after the Everest Marathon, a place to detox and recover. Even the air is better and sweeter in the hotel. It isn’t near Thamel but that is why it is peaceful. I can’t imagine staying anywhere else. It isn’t the luxury, it is the support of Nepali and Newari traditions that put it over the top. PS The basil lemonade is addictive PPS The lady who manages the treatment center is a fourth generation healer and she has an incredible nasya recipe for your sinuses and lungs PPS Try a game of Tigers and Goats

This place is an oasis at the center of buzzing Kathmandu. Close proximity to the airport is a bonus. You can of course stay at the western chains but if you wish to immerse yourself in Nepalese culture while having the perks of a 4/5 star hotel, this is the place to be. Don’t forget to dine at the excellent Nepalese restaurant.

The best hotel in Nepal, excellent services, breakfast, staff. One of the reasons we love to go back to Nepal. The hotel has a character which makes it very very especial.

Don’t stay here if you want a good nights rest . There was a dog barking all night and drilling and hammering during the day. What a nusaince and mistake to stay here and over priced. I spent over $1200 for three nights and got a better sleep at a $50 Hotel in Thamel.

A fabulous one night stay. Everything was exceptional from the customer service to the dining. The room was spacious and well equipped with signature spa products in the bathroom. Would highly recommend.

It’s hard to describe perfect. I’d have to really think hard to make up a fault. I’ve traveled a bit. I’ve never had a positive emotional response like my stay at Dwarika’s Hotel. If you’re a fan of history, architecture, culinary arts, music, dance, sports, customer service, etc. this is for you .

From the moment we got in to the moment we left, you could not fault anything. The service was amazing, the room was phenomenal and a great choice of restaurants. I really loved the turned down service, knowing when your back from dinner everything is ready for you for bed. Recommend anyone going to Kathmandu to stay here.
