The good: Extremely pleasant and helpful staff. They quickly learned my name and room number and always greeted me with a smile. The hotel is located in a nice and safe area, with plenty of restaurants, stores and public transportation within walking distance. No, no tourist attractions nearby, if that is what you are looking for but public transportation can get you there through Mexico City's traffic faster than if you try a car of any kind. The neighborhood is reasonably quiet at night, except for the (perhaps) occasional ambulance or police siren, but not severe. Something you might expect in a large city. The not-so-good: I don't know if this is a security feature or what? but I have not experienced this anywhere else: you need to get your key card re-coded daily. Once you know it you learn to deal with it. On the second day, the staff recognized us and quickly prepared new cards for us before we reached the front desk. Some aspects of the hotel need updating, such as the seating in the lobby. The room was OK given the age of the building. Expect comfortable but not luxury accommodation. In summary: We like this hotel for many reasons and continue to stay there when we visit Mexico City.

Everyone on the staff was extremely helpful and courteous, it made a big difference. The hotel is clean but in need of some remodeling as some of the furniture is a bit worn out. The location is great in terms of transportation and places to eat nearby. Stores of all kinds are within walking distance. I have stayed there a few times due to its convenience and safe area where it is located.

Un pésimo lugar para quedarse, me cobraron de más, la atención es deplorable, no tienen educación y llegan a ser prepotentes, las camas son una cosa un poco más suave que una piedra, la televisión no tiene señal clara, no saben asistirte en absolutamente a nada y cero empáticos.

Hotel is nice, the bed was really hard so it was tough to get a good night sleep. but overall a good hotel to stay at.

I have known this Hotel since I was young and lived in this neighborhood. Being in this place is like being at home. The location is extraordinary because it is in an extraordinary neighborhood. Well located and with multiple options for walking, eating and transportation. The place is clean. The hotel staff is very kind. Whenever I can I will return to this place.

Very pleasant staff, a little old fashioned, but comfortable. The junior suite was fine but a little cramped. The space between door and wash basin was just 9 in beds, a tight squeeze in 203.
