We loved our room and the whole experience of our stay. The room was very clean, comfortable, and the location was convenient to all the sights we planned to see. The staff was excellent and very helpful. We would definitely stay here again.

It was very easy to check in and out, the staff were very friendly, the room was clean and in good order. I was very happy with our stay here, and would go back in a heartbeat. I only wish the pool was heated! Haha! Also that the hot tub had been functioning during our stay!

Absolutely Horrible Stay. Do Not Book Here. I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and it was the worst experience of my life. On my last day, I discovered that my safe had been tampered with. I had locked it multiple times (I double-check constantly due to OCD), and yet when I went to check out, realized it was open. My $5,000 diamond ring and €1,000 in cash were stolen. When I reported this to management, they promised to call me back with an update but never did. It’s been over a week, and I’ve heard absolutely nothing. Their response at the time was dismissive and unprofessional — no concern, no investigation, no help. I already posted this review on Google, and the lack of follow-up confirms just how little they care about guests. On top of that, the hotel itself is the loudest and most chaotic place I’ve ever stayed. Guests were partying outside until 6–7 AM, and walls are paper-thin — you hear everything from other rooms. Sleep is impossible. Even when asking for something as simple as extra coffee pods, staff made me feel uncomfortable and unwelcome. The entire stay gave off a terrible, unsafe energy. Combine that with theft, cold service, and zero accountability, and it’s clear this property is not worth the money or risk. I spent 2.5 weeks in Spain staying at multiple hotels and never once had an issue — only here. If you value your belongings, your peace of mind, or even the chance of a decent night’s sleep, stay far away from this place.

Good location, excellent and helpful staff. Our room had lots of space and a good shower and bathroom counter to get ready but poor lighting for doing hair/makeup. Having a kitchen area was great and the bed was comfortable with lots of extra cushions. We liked staying in the gothic quarter near las Rambla and walkable to other attractions. Would recommend this historic hotel.

They left a bottle of wine in the room for our anniversary.

We had a great experience, family of 4 with 2 teenagers. The roomie big enough and clean. Love that the hotel is in the local area so we experienced the real Barcelona life. The hotel is pricy but we were happy with our choice.

Hotel has alot of character, rooms large and unique and kitchen was a plus. Staff was ver helpful. Pool could use some shade, maybe umbrellas.
