This hotel was not our first choice, but it was quite hard to find hotel for New Year Eve, so we gave it a try. This was the poorest hotel we have ever encountered so far, since we are frequent travelers. From the time we arrived, the hotel looked old and it was much more like a motel, even a motel will be better than this. It was located on small alley. We paid quite expensive for 2 nights. As comparison, we stayed at other hotel at the same area one week before, it was a 4 star hotel and the price was half of Grace Hotel's price. We were shocked when we entered the room. The carpet was dusty. There was rubbish on the floor, some kind of instant noodle plastic wrap. It was horrible. I brought my two 5-year-old child. We could not sleep those 2 nights because the room was just too dirty and the air conditioner did not work. Since it was winter, we did not expect the air con to be on the 16 degree all time. We tried to set it to 23 degree but it kept going back to 16. It was too cold. And the sound from outside (from the street) can be heard from the room. Our room came with breakfast. They gave us a coupon to redeem breakfast at nearby food stall. Apparently the food stall place was dirty, the food was not edible, looked not hygienic. We tried a bite and we left it. Since we paid double the price of a 4 star hotel, we expected a better room, breakfast and service. This was definitely the first and the last time we stay here.

The hotel is clean and conveniently close from MRT, MALL, night market
