A beautful small castle with bespoke charm. You really experienced all the trappings of its heritage. Absoultely gorgeous! A fantastic location set amoungst a huge range of eclectic cafes, bars and restaurants. Close to the funicular and cable car entrance. Extremely friendly and helpful staff. Loveliest hotel I've stayed in for a long time. So different to the standard formula hotels. A once in a lifetime experience . 👍🙂

For a first time traveling with an autistic adult son I’d landed in an enchanted castle, full of beautiful things, wonderful services, friendly staff, a cozy bar with complimentary daily drinks and a small kitchen that treated us as royals like Beauty and the Beast that we had come to be their guests, this place could be romantic for couples and in our case of family vacation, it was perfect. I felt like I was at home, safe, convenient , within walking distance to all the restaurants in Bellavista. Around the corner is the home of the famous poet, Pablo Neruda, and then from there is the path to the Funicular that takes you up to San Cristobal Hill. The zoo is right next door, but it was closed on Monday our last day so we end up going to Costanera shopping center with the sky observatory that. The front desk staff helped me if I had any questions about my itinerary and made good suggestions to enhance my experience and safety. They even held our luggage for us and allowed us to use the common area like the computer and the tea and coffee area on second floor to refresh before heading to the airport late in the evening. Upon my late arrival, I was happily surprised with a pre-upgrade. The bed was so soft. I felt like I wasn’t even in a foreign country. There was a lady from Australia, who said that she was here 12 years ago and she came back because this place is such a special place for is beauty, convenience for the friendliness. Come and be enchanted!

The staff were amazing, so kind and helpful, so hospitable. The property is gorgeous, everything is beautiful and thoughtfully arranged. It was such a comfortable and authentic stay. They also went above and beyond for my daughter's 21st birthday with a surprise when we arrived. We will absolutely stay here again when we return to Chile someday.

Lovely boutique hotel in a great neighborhood! Our room was spotless, we had a bottle of sparkling white as a welcome, breakfast was fresh and delish. The atmosphere of the Castillo Rojo is just charming! Happy hour every day on the patio...just wonderful! The staff could not have been any better! We LOVED our stay at the Castillo Rojo and loved our stay in Santiago!

Check-in was easy. No elevators, so a bit of a hike to our room on the 4th floor, but Staff assisted with bags. Our room (Classic Queen) was on the small side, but fine for two nights. The breakfasts were ample and delicious, served in a lovely ground floor room. There is a small courtyard area to sit with a coffee or glass of wine. The hotel is within short walking distance of many restaurants. Our first night was very quiet, but the second evening there was loud music ... earplugs are required. Staff are pleasant and helpful.

Room 3 AC was working fine however my travelling partners in room 22 had issues setting the air conditioning to a suitable temperature, it seemed their AC kept blowing cold past their target temperature

Excellent overall. Good location and friendly staff. The only areas for improvement are that there should be an option for espresso drinks and maybe a little jacuzzi.

This is located in a historic, busier part of Santiago near the base of San Cristobal. Many fun places to eat. The funicular will take you on top for the iconic Virgin Mary monument is located and panoramic views of the city. The hotel is enclosed and placed outdoor seating in the courtyard covered in ivy; it's very peaceful. The motel was once a mansion. Breakfast maybe outside in the courtyard, or inside the historic mansion. Our family loved it

This is a charming boutique hotel with friendly and helpful staff. I wish I had more time to stay there longer. The hotel safety was paramount; this is an enclosed facility that requires key card entry to get in the grounds - which are beautiful and great for lingering outdoors. Its about 30 minutes from the airport. I arranged a paid shuttle service with the hotel to pick me up and drop me off at the airport so I didn't mess with local taxis or uber. I had my own private ride associated with the hotel. They stayed in touch via Whatsapp and I knew exactly how to find my driver at the airport and was able to check in with him for the pick up to feel secure that he would show up - which he did - right on time - to get me back for my early flight. Breakfast is included but service started later than my early morning tour so I didn't experience it. The staff was very helpful in helping me understand how to get around the city.

The staff were helpful, and courteous, and we appreciated the early morning welcome. The room was clean, the breakfast was great and the complimentary wine hour was an amazing touch. This is the only place I would recommend for people to stay if they want to visit Santiago!
