It was so cool to stay in an old historic building. Staff were kind and helpful. Centrally located. Perfect BnB to stay for a trip

Loved the place. It’s really centrally placed for Windsor and Eton. The staff, food and rooms are lovely. Our bed was super comfy and the room had the unique feel you’d expect from a very old hotel. We had a special bay window looking over Etons high street and this made the room even more unique. If you want something different from a chain and the dullness that this brings give the place a go

Very friendly staff, clean accommodation and comfortable beds, all in a great location. The only negative is it is a bit tired and needs some maintenance. Eg decoration, cracks in walls etc.

Used as a base for rugby at Twickenham and it worked well with free parking and a two minute walk to the station then 25 mins to Rugby. Bar closes early on a Sunday but we found other places to eat and drink. Room was good and variable floors are certainly interesting but nothing dangerous. Staff we met were pleasant and breakfast good. Overall good value and would recommend/stay again.

Our room was lovely and spacious but unfortunately, although advertised as a quiet room, it was extremely noisy as over the bar. The voices and laughter carried up into the room and we could see why we had most considerately been given ear plugs! Luckily it went quiet at 11 p.m. Very convenient having a car park round the back. The stairs were pretty tricky to climb but we helped up with our cases. It was a lovely breakfast in the morning.

Very good location, the building is very old 17th Century making the room very quirky sloppy floors etc. Windows let a lot of road noise in so was woken up early by traffic! We had a room above us and could hear them walking around! Breakfast was good and staff were nice and friendly

Olde worldy as it’s 400 years old so sloping floors etc. Delightful. Wonderful staff. Excellent breakfast. And so close to Windsor Castle. Perfect for us.

It’s a terrible hotel. Location is five star. Other than that, front door is locked till noon, need to go through back door. Check out is 10:30am and there is no lobby area to stay. There is no lift nor staff to help for the luggage. I will never visit again.

I stayed in room one and during the night I could feel myself being bitten. I called the hotel on my home as there was only a chef about when I left and informed them that I had been bitten 5 times during the night so they may want to get the room checked out, the lady I spoke to said she pass this information to the managers and I should expect an email. Unfortunately I haven’t heard from them.

Its an old pub with uneven floors. No microwave or fridge. Breakfast is good. Bed is terrible and pillows are bricks. Must hold toiletseat while peeing. Nice pub people.
