I often stay at the San Diego, this time I could notice some changes, the hotel is being renovated, I also noticed that it is cleaner, the only thing I didn't see any change was the breakfast, it needs to improve a lot.

Seems that a wife cannot check in without approval of the husband Total crap She had my ID and was barred from checking in until I called the property Rooms are very small and expensive for the size Shows lake front on the pictures but its not

Lugar pessimo não recomendo para ninguém, eu aluguei por duas noites e consegui ficar só uma porque o estacionamento era rotativo e não tinha lugar para mim parar meu carro e ninguém me falou,enfim perder uma noite que paguei

Not good at all! Es muy mal! dirty. The hotel room, toilet and breakfast area, it wasn’t cleaned up properly The coffee cups were full of stains and broken. The breakfast was poor The hotel does not offer parking after 7pm. The staff was rude! The hotel was outdated, and not maintained properly with lost of broken bits and stains everywhere! It’s a pretty location but not worth the stress. Really upset and disappointed It’s not a 4 starts. Maybe in the 70s. But definitely not at the present moment.

Everything is good except the parking.

Good place and nice area with clean rooms. However, none of the staff spoke English when I was there.

Very well located

With COVID, things were a little off like the pool and rooftop being closed, but the place is still nice. Staff is wonderful. Food was pretty good for breakfast and they allowed ordering some extra special things. Hotel is a little dated, but price seems very good. Wish the pool and roof would be open for next time!

My staying was amazing.. the employees were kind letting us to take breakfast after the timeout. The hotel is very clean and the room offers the necessary for a comfortable staying.

Its decent enough for your daily needs very business favored, but it matched my demands. It was a fine stay.

Wow this place. Staff won’t even look at you, no good morning, nothing. When you ask something they seem uninterested to help. In the rooms we have to ask to chance the bedding because it was getting black from how dirty. The would tidy up the room but not actually clean it, even forgot to put in toilet paper. Elevator was broken , they didn’t even bother trying to fix it. Was just a mess.

Very good location for a stay close to UFMG. Probably about a half hour walk but we used Uber (cost £1-2). Comfortable basic accommodation with decent breakfast included. Good value and staff (some spoke English). I had a couple of minor issues and they were dealt with promptly. Location, by the lake is lovely, and there are a few walkable restaurants close. Hotel offers decent food too when you want to stay in.

One has to lower one's American expectations. The rooms were clean and wonderfully functional. The staff was very professional and pleasant...but limited in their command of the English language. Their breakfast was exceptional. The hotel's location was both exceptional and central to the city.

Great location. Variety of food at breakfast Buffet. Room well clean. Receptionist well informed and helpful. Next trip to Brazil, we are definitely staying there.

The hotel double charged me and would not refund one of the charges. I paid almost $500 and the original charge should have been $243. They were also very unfriendly, not helpful and rude. The wifi was almost nonexistent.

The hotel is a little far out of downtown, probably a good thirty minutes by taxi. But it is right on the very scenic lagoon, and is right outside the Mineirao stadium, so if that's why you're going to Belo this is perfect.

Convenient for the Mineirão stadium located in the Pampulha suburb of Belo Horizonte. Clean and basic hotel, small room with poor sound insulation. Breakfast buffet was simple and adequate.

Was there for the World Cup and they were overwhelmed. There was no water in the room and when I asked where I could get water I was told 15 minutes away at a supermarket but oh it was probably closed. They had no adaptors for American devices and no way to get them. Overall it was not a good experience.

Dirty bathroom at arrival....facilities are not the best...pizza is soooo goooood!!...very good people....
