This was such a lovely place to stay. We had a room in the annex. We could hear other people come and go and talking in another room, but quiet other than that. The pub was very nice.

My room was lovely comfortable and clean bathroom was good too. Staff were helpful and welcoming, great restaurant too and quiet it was perfect

Room nice & clean,really good shower nice quiet village,had fish & chips for evening meal very nice and a pint of Guinness pulled properly even had a shamrock on it.very nice place to stay will definitely srsy again.

We stayed at the ham and cheese last minute for a football tournament. We cannot fault this place to stay. The staff, the room & service were impeccable. We also had breakfast and dinner and the dishes were delicious and such a variety. We would definitely recommend this beautiful please for your stay. We will definitely be back.

We had a really nice stay before we went to flamingo land the next day, we were welcomed by very pleasant staff and shown our room which was just right for what we needed, the food was very nice aswell, overall I would definitely stay again.

Have stayed here several times it’s a real gem of a place, great staff, great rooms, great food would highly recommend

The rooms are clean, but not very spacious, toilet a tight area, that said the Bar area is very nice, food is great with a lot of choice, it’s also great to see somewhere that has atmosphere.

Our family room was clean comfortable and spacious. Check in was seamless and the pub/bar area Is great. We had breakfast and the full English was one of the best we’ve ever had. Highly recommend if you’re going to stay in the area.

The menu choices were varied and portion size was amazing and represented good value for money. The accommodation was very comfortable, clean and provided a very restful stay

First time stayed, everything fine apart from kitchen fan noise, but was turned off when pub shut, hosts and staff are great and friendly. The food whether breakfast, lunch or an evening meal is brilliant

This property is very well maintained and far better than many chain hotels like Holiday Inn or Premier Inn. The room had everything we needed for a very comfortable and relaxing stay. I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a cosy, clean, and well-equipped place to stay!

Pub, food and staff were lovely. Good location. Dog friendly. The annexe/bungalow however had a few issues including radiators being stuck on, shower leakages and the building being very noisy at night due to a large amount of rooms/people in a small space. I do however feel like we were just quite unlucky so would encourage others to stay here.

Quintessential English pub - great character, great food and lovely people. Room big, bed comfy and shower strong. Recommend for sure.
