A good value property and comfortable with all we needed for a short stay. We appreciated the items left for making breakfast and good communication/information from the owner. We found it ideal for visiting Oxford with just a short drive to Park and Ride.

Booked late as job ran over and arrived at short notice. Met by Graham, a lovely gentleman, who ran through everything with me and gave me some fresh milk. On entering the room the décor was nice and clean. Large size room with well equipped kitchen area. Was just a one night stay so after a good shower it was off for a superb curry (recommended by Graham) and a cple of pints at the local, all in short walking distance. Then back for a good nights sleep before some cereals and tea set me up for my working day. Lovely accommodation, will be back when in the area.

This property is set in a charming Oxfordshire village and made a lovely place for our overnight stopover. We would return if we are in the area again.

This was an extremely pleasant stay. The studio was squeaky clean, well furnished, and well stocked. I cannot say anything derogatory. It was well above my expectations.

Clean and tidy. Plenty of space. Kitchen had sink, microwave, kettle, toaster which hotels.com described poorly. Cereals, milk, bread, coffee provided. Friendly host onsite. No credit card payment possible, cash or bank transfer only. Thin walls and people in room above. Excellent pub The Plough opposite

Just a one night business trip. Easy parking and keys waiting for me on arrival. Location perfect with a nice old pub just over the road and a quality Indian restaurant 5 minutes walk away. Accommodation was spotlessly clean, comfortable and very well equipped including breakfast of cereal, toast, jam butter and tea/coffee. It was a pleasure staying at the red barn and felt more like a holiday than a business trip,…. Highly recommended.

owner would only take a cash - I was there on business and had to negotiate doing a bank transfer after a long day of travel and work that was the last thing I needed! No cooked breakfast, owner provided me with bread to toast and milk for cereal. room was expensive and not to have a cooked breakfast was not value for money I could have stayed in another venue for £3 cheaper AND had a cooked breakfast

Greeted by dogs before the owner. I was then shown to a room that was full of dust on shelves, black mould in the shower. Bed was totally uncomfortable and rocked from side to side on every movement. Warm bottles of water due to direct sunlight from the window. Constant traffic noise overnight kept me awake. I did not bother to stay for breakfast as I was put of by the rest of the place. The only reason I sayed the two nights was because Expedia had already deducted the total cost of the stay. The whole experience was totally nothing like the website had described.

The house is very dated. The owners seemed very aloof and (maybe?) disinterested. The bed was poor, had to sleep avoiding a spring despite the host assuring us it was very comfortable! Toilet seat was not secure, shower door casing was dirty, the shower itself was poor and the bathroom pipes and skirtingboard dusty. Cooked breakfast only consisted of a choice of 4 items, we ordered the night before but only 2 of the 3 items ordered turned up on the plate. It was assumed that we would want brown toast - white was offered when the brown was brought but when I said I preferred white I felt it was an imposition by the reaction I got. Both cups were badly chipped - had to drink left handed to avoid it! We love dogs but found it off putting that one of the dogs sat beside us and watched us eating our breakfast.Perhaps non dog lovers would struggle to stay here. Needless to say we won't be returning.

We stopped two nights on our visit to Oxford and were a little disappointed with the quality and condition of the room. The beds were less than comfortable and some of the bedding worn. The towels were very good and the shower was acceptable.

Delightful 18th century house, in a pretty village, but the road was very busy at peak times. On-street parking only, directly opposite. B&B run by a lovely, helpful couple. The bedroom was comfortable, but some of the fittings were rather down-at-heel. Several places to eat within easy walking distance. We would stay at the Grange again for another overnight stop on a long journey.

I was the internet/wifi signal was very poor that I could not do much/anything on my computer. Also as I was up for work a table would have been nice as well. A lovely place if you want to visit the local traps and run by lovely people

Nice property in quaint location. Difficult to find as limited signage and parking. Room average however bathroom was in need of a lot of updating and very un-sightly in places. Felt like being in someones house and could not really feel at ease although it was a lovely house. Could have been a lovely experience but sadly let down by small elements.
