Lovely clean, welcoming hotel. Food was excellent. Room Lovely, clean and comfortable. Only issue we had was the room was very hot and there were no instructions for setting the air conditioning.

We had a pleasant stay in the junior suite. The room is lovely & big, the bed however is seriously creaky & every time you turned it was awful. On arrival at the hotel the Aircon was down & so were the TVs. - however reception did send maintenance with a fan which was fab (just extremely loud so sleeping with it on wasn't an option) The TVs had been sorted by the time we got back after dinner. Bar was quiet but pleasant and the staff we encountered were lovely. Overall a nice stay in the city centre, although the hotel probably could do with an upgrade - especially the stale smell in the corridors / lift lobby.

We had a great time, my only slight constructive feedback was the rooms were too hot and you couldn't turn down the heat so it was a hot nights sleep However, you had everything you could need. The room was spotless and spacious, beautiful bathroom, free WiFi and the chrome cast was the biggest bonus! Loved having a drink downstairs in the bar too. Staff are friendly too. We really enjoyed our stay and look forward to our next visit.

Very nice hotel in a great location. Great dining options and nice bar. Room itself could use a little love with multiple chips in wall, furniture falling apart (door hanging on one hinge, one telly without remote). Room listing includes air con, but could not actually control air con or turn it on. Room was not uncomfortable, but considering room was on 5th floor it wasnt comfortable either in the afternoon. I wouldn't have minded if the listing didnt have air con on offer.

I loved my stay , Such an amazing location and want to book for Xmas shopping with my mum , the hotel was lovely and Michael on the desk is the most helpful and warmest to be welcomed by, he was amazing ! The guy on arrival , not so much. Also Please Fix the lift the other 1 is slow Enough ! 😂😂

Perfectly located in the city Centre! Room was clean and comfy.

Hotel reception staff and also bar staff were absolutely exceptional with a fantastic welcome and a real ability to get solo travellers to chat to each other in the bar over the tennis and the football that was on the television well done

Great location. great staff ( professional and friendly) , and clean.

The temperature in the room was unbearable and the bedding was so thick. The temperature was 28 degrees on the display and it wouldn’t go down. I spoke to reception but it didn’t change. Had the window open too. Hotel was nice otherwise.

We stayed in a suite for 2 nights whilst working at Ninewells

the guy at the reception is very poorly trained we stayed at the reception for 40 minutes he said he couldn't book us a room and made us book Olline the rest of the hotel is wonderful cleanliness conditions everything is superb the staff is poorly trained

Welcoming staff, clean and nicely furnished room, superb bathroom facilities.

Dundee Malmaison is looking a bit dated, rooms are spacious but with tiny windows, which is a shame as the views across the Tay Estuary are pretty stunning. Loading/drop off beware, we incurred a £50 penalty because we exceeded 10 minutes and the reception desk gives you no warning, which is mystifying. A tiny detail, which can ruin your impression of the stay.

Overall an excellent hotel. Only issue was one of the 2 lifts was broken as under repair. On the 6th floor meant it was along wait going up or down. Stairs was not an option for me I am afraid. Other wise it was great value for money
