On arrival i was originally given top floor room unfortunately lift was out of order and after explaining my knee issues i have the front of house staff member immediately swapped my room to a ground floor without any problems.

Clean and Basic, shower wasn’t working properly, Lift was out of order but not notified by the management, and wasn’t given the opportunity to change booking. We were on the 3rd floor. Less able people would have struggled.

Hotel is basic, clean but a bit dated. However the staff were excellent, friendly and very helpful. Attending a local sporting event and made very welcome with great assistance by staff.

Great location. Pleasant, helpful staff. Super breakfast. General wear and tear on an older building so could do with some external and internal decoration. Can’t complain though as very reasonably priced.

If you like art this is the hotel for you Lots to look at and provoke discussion. Excellent location, close to the beach and Devonshire park. Great budget hotel.

Convenient location was a plus. Hardly saw a staff member. Room and bathroom was tidy if not totally clean. Needs updating TW.

Very welcoming, staff polite and helpful. Breakfast very good and nice to interact with chef. Nice restful break with no interutptions.

One of the largest family rooms weve had with sea views to the side which was great. Very nicely located and parking was included and available on road close by. Did have no hot water on one the morning but just had to slow our morning and wait for 30 mins and it was all ok. Challenge of older buildings I guess. Would stay again.

Lovely hotel, really nice room especially for tge price. Slept really well. Didn't want to get out of the shower if I am honest .

I had the pleasure of staying at the Da Vinci Hotel for three nights over the Bank Holiday weekend. I found the hotel to be clean, spacious, practical, friendly, safe, and in a great location. The design of the hotel was also very appealing and I felt that it offered excellent value for money. I would definitely choose to stay at this hotel again in the future and I am confident that I would enjoy my stay each time. Upon my arrival, everything was clearly explained to me and I was offered the option of having breakfast at a very reasonable price. The hotel was well-managed and organized, and I appreciated that my towels were changed daily. I am very pleased with my experience at the Da Vinci Hotel and I would like to thank the team for making my short holiday a memorable one.

If you need to stay for one or two nights and there are no other options only … The location is okay. The bathroom is dirty, with mold everywhere on the taps, tiles, and shower. To turn on the hot water, you have to fight with the electric heater in the shower. There is no fridge, drinking water, or even teaspoons. The bed and lamps are covered in dust and someone’s hair. The windows also have black mold. Overall, the room is warm, but you can hear noise from the hallway, and the light from the common corridor shines into the room. In the lobby, I met a man whose wallet was stolen from his room. In my room, they didn’t clean the second day, only replaced the trash bags. However, for some reason, they threw the blanket aside and placed my pillow in the middle of the bed, even though I had made the bed before leaving the room. They might have been looking for something… They didn’t ask for any documents upon check-in. The key to the room unlocks both my room and the hotel doors; I don’t know how that works, but when I asked if that meant anyone could open my room, the receptionist said it was “stupid.” I guess it’s okay for him to talk to guests like that. On the day of departure, I called a very scary and squeaky elevator, and on the floor, there were cups and glasses that the cleaners were supposed to put in the rooms later.
