Spa très calme, déjeuner excellent (gaufres maison, produits de l’érable, œufs, muffins) et personnel chaleureux et très serviable.

Room was clean with pretty view. Staff were able to communicate in English which was really helpful in our case. Breakfast was bit disappointed as no much options and instead they suggested extra 10$ for eggs and meat option.

We had a river view room with a beautiful view. Room was clean and comfortable. The AC unit was too loud for us to sleep, so we didn't use it. We had dinner at the restaurant. For the prices we expected the food to be better; this was the only disappointing part of our stay. Additionally, when we first arrived, we had problems with our vehicle. The girl working at the front desk let us use her battery booster and some small tools she had in her car. We appreciated that do much, as we were able to fix the car. Overall, I would recommend this accommodation.

Excellent stay. Clean rooms, beautiful locations, helpful reception, filling breakfast, etc. I just wish I could've stayed longer, hope to come back soon.

We had a very pleasant stay during the off-season. Our rooms overlooked the river and were quiet. The room was clean, relatively recently refurbed and very comfortable. All the staff were friendly and helpful. On check-in, we asked if we could get a knife (so we could have a wine and cheese snack in our rooms) and the receptionist got us one. The continental breakfast included the usual favourites. They also make their own blueberry and strawberry jam for your toast. Our hostess took good care of us and topped up water and coffee and cleared dishes as we had a long and relaxed meal and visit with the friends we were travelling with.

We had a lovely stay at this beautiful, historic inn. Our room was in the units across the street by the river — spacious, comfortable, and featuring a king bed. The setting was peaceful and picturesque, with the river and many charming nearby towns, and it’s only a short drive to Montreal. The staff were friendly and welcoming. We speak some French, but travelers with no French may find communication a bit challenging since English is limited. Breakfast was good but somewhat overpriced for what was offered. We would recommend adding a TV in the living room as well as in the bedroom. Overall, it’s a wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beauty of the area.

The front desk staff were friendly. The price was reasonable compare to any other hotel in the area. The bad, the bed was very firm and uncomfortable. The mattress was sunken in and worn in the middle. Slept for 3 hours because of it. The shower was very small. Its an enclosed shower like you would have in a RV camper. They need a removable shoeer head sprayer with the attached hose. You have to park along the side of the road in front of the motel to unload your luggage then drive back to the parking lot across and down the road. Dangerous and inconvenient. Place was very clean and didn't smell like cigarette or pot smoke. That was a big plus!

Our concerns are twofold. We were only told there was no restaurant service until it was too late. Our room was to include a breakfast but for the above reason it was non-existent. Secondly after checking in the staff seemed to be nonexistent. On check out we tried to return our keys but the door to reception was locked - and it was after 9am !

Les directions pour se rendre à la chambre ne sont pas claires, nous avons cherché longtemps Il manque quelques détails dans la chambre et aucun service à la chambre pour un 4 étoiles c’est décevant. Les deux spas extérieur sont vraiment pas propre et celui à l’intérieur est très chaud Pas de clef pour les casiers pour sécuriser nos biens personnels Nous ne reviendrons pas

Our weekend stay was amazing! The staff was extremely helpful, courteous, and so nice about communicating with us in English. We know very little French and were made to feel very comfortable. Thank you so much for an amazing experience!

The indoor spa was cold. No towels, coffee machine did not work. All in all it was good. Oh room with a garden view was just a row of flowers and then the hiway..the grounds were beautiful

I enjoyed my stay at Auberge Handfield. It was quite with friendly staff and on-site dining. The room was very clean and comfortable. There was plenty of parking and I had a great view of the river. I would stay there again.

They didn't clean our room and nobody onsite to talk to. Might have been out of season but were not informed about it anywhere. Facilities like restaurant, spa and pool were closed. None of this was mentioned upon booking or check-in .
