Away from the centre of the village, surrounded by mountains, we had a lovely view from our balcony of a field with donkeys grazing and a small chapel at the far end of the valley. It is quite a hike from the hotel to the lake. If you’re a hiker, then this is the place for you. The dinner was expensive and mediocre. I do not recommend the half-board plan. Breakfast was okay, very limited choices. They benefit from the high tourist numbers obviously reflected in the limited value for money equation.

This had everything we wanted. Perfect hotel rooms, great food, nice pool, spa, and massage. And oh so close to the lake. I would stay here again!!!!

Good location for accessing sightseeing spots and friendly staff

This hotel is the best hidden gem in the Dolomites. From the pool, staff, and room, everything is perfect. And the food! Best food I have ever had. Will definitely be back to stay at this hotel next time we are in the Dolomites!

Amazing place to relax and recharge! Only a five minute drive to lago di braies and close to many restaurants. They also serve dinner nightly, but we ventured out as our stay was only one night. The pool and sauna facilities are included and offer beautiful mountain views. Blackout curtains allowed us to sleep in mid-summer. Very peaceful stay!

Perfect hotel location for exploring the Lago di Braies area. We could hike directly from the hotel to the lake (no need to mess with car / parking at the lake). The hotel staff was great. We enjoyed the pool and spa areas. The food was wonderful, especially the great dinners.

We had a lot of issues with this property. This is definitely NOT a 4-Star hotel. To begin with, the property is old and dirty, and when we checked into the room there was a putrid smell from the sewers in the bathroom. We were advised to just open our windows and they tried cleaning it but it never went away. We left a day early because of that and they wouldnt refund us. Secondly, the description online says they have laundry, which they do not. And i was counting on this stay to be able to wash my clothes halfway through our trip. Third, the food was horrendous. Inedible. Everything frozen and microwaved before serving but they charge 30 EUR per person for it because there are limited places in that area. Lastly, the "saving" grace was that they had a pool and a number of spa's/saunas. However, they dont tell you that they are only open 2.5 hrs a day and only in the afternoon... please, no one ever stay here

My wife and I stayed here while hiking the Dolomites. The entire experience was 10/10. The staff, the food, the spa and the room were all incredible.

We had a very good one night stay at Hotel Trenker. Upon arrival, we were luckily upgraded to a suite, and wow - what a room! The dinner was a pleasant surprise, it was delicious. Check in and out was easy as was parking and the proximity to Lago di Braies was wonderful.

Lugar maravilhoso, Atendimento impecável, Alex se empenhou em entender o português, piscina cinematográfica, jantar espetacular, vista das montanhas da janela do quarto, muito próximo ao lago, a pé dá 2 km de subida, compensa aguardar o ônibus que passa de meia em meia hora e aceita dinheiro. Chega-se de trem até Villabassa e da praça central pega-se o ônibus 442. Melhor passeio na Itália, podia ter reservado mais um dia.
