They charge extra for the bed sheets. Dirty and stinky, starting from the broken entrance door to the broken washroom facilities. If you arrive late at night you might not even get your room number and the code. There’s nothing you can enjoy about this place and honestly it shouldn’t be listed here.

The Hostel is well located, near the station and there are many shops and restaurants nearby. But the cleanliness was awful, the room was dirty and we needed to pay for towels and bedsheets. The men’s toilets were full of piss. The staff was very unfriendly and people in these hostel were strange. Our triple room didn’t have a window, it looked like a shelter, I don’t know how this can be legal in an European country. Overall we paid too much for this conditions.

I was wary before arriving at the City Lodge Hostel, having read the reviews. However it was soon apparent on arrival that the staff were working really hard to maintain a clean environment. I experienced no problems regarding the availability of reception staff. The furniture was well worn but considering the price of the hostel it was really good value. The location is absolutely perfect for a short stay with easy access to all sites and amenities.

We aren't picky and have stayed in lots of hostels. I killed 3 bedbugs in our room, 1 was full of blood. Bathrooms were filthy our entire stay. Feces on walls, blood on toilet seats, mold all over shower walls, bath floors covered with tp & trash. Kitchen was dirty and unusable. Refrigerator packed full of residents' food. Several guests obviously were locals who used this as a full time residence (near homeless). Can't recommend this place. Stay here if you can't find anything else.

Linen I rent seems clean and ironed.

They have bed bugs!! It's very dirty and it smells. When I started to put on the bed sheets I noticed bed bugs! So I left the hostel immediately and didn't even get a whole refund! I usually don't have high expectations or needs in a hostel but having bed bugs is a no-go! Even if you want to travel cheap it's definitely not worth it and I would recommend to invest 2€ more and stay in another hostel. Worst hostel experience so far.

Expedía shouldn’t be selling this horrible quality of product; this thing more than hostel it looks more like a shelter. The worst place ever. The guy at the office is so greedy; instead of acomódate you he rather make some money out of your situation. Horrible experience. Government should close this place; it has a very poor ventilation, dirty place; it’s not healthy at all, neither safe at all

Not worth to stay

Hostel was dirty. Paid for bedding and towels but never received it all. Toilets and shower rooms in need of repair

Worst than an army bootcamp condition, no windows at the rooms or common ground, everything falls apart, you need to pay money for bed sheets. A horrible horrible place.

Cheap should. It mean poorly maintained. Broken showers,. O toilet paper. It was. Dry. List all the 4 nights I was there. I had hired sheets, the bottom sheetwas so narrow it barely covered the .actress

Clean and cosy. In 400m nice Italian restaurant. But the airport shuttle,which was in facilities,never exist there.

Very good location. Staff at the reception very friendly. The receptionist gave me ideas and how to get where I wanted to go which was very simple. The room was in the basement. The bunk beds were good and sturdy. There was a little noise coming from the pipe that lined the ceiling but I was so tired I didn't notice when I was going to sleep. The shower room and toilets were in okay condition. I remember seeing the cleaner quite a few times so I believe they do keep it in good state.

I hade bad experiences with them. Since last time good staying so I came back again. I told them I will be late arrival and I have problem with my back so I cant use upside beds, but when I check in still only upside bed to me, so first night I almost no sleep, so I stayed in my friend house and rest during the day. Second night I hoped I will get lower bed as I asked. But still the same!!! So thats the last time for me for this place!

The cleaning guy open the guest room at night, and early morning. And even I saw he was peeking someone's room thru the gap of door and wall. I do not know why. And even though their check out time is 11am. The guy just turns on the light to make bed for preparing! The others in the room are still sleeping though! And they charge bed-linen and baggage storage after check-out.

The location was not bad but the customer service was poor. Charging the customers extra money for beddings and towels is not proper enough. It could have been added to the accommodation cost.
