Our reservation was messed up and no rooms available with one king bed. Took 30 minutes for the clerk to find us a suitable room. Otherwise it was a decent place.

Dirty, no ice in any machine, had to move rooms cause someone walked into our room with an old key.

Do not recommend staying here at all.

It is always clean and comfortable. The only problem I have is getting in the bed. The mattress is waist high to me.

They advertise a pool but the pool has been closed for a year. We booked this hotel because it had an indoor pool. And in fact it is closed. They say under maintenance but being shut down for a year...

We’re a traveling basketball team, and we booked Candlewood Suites in Bloomington specifically for the pool and the in-room fridge—both important when you’ve got a group of kids and a weekend full of games. While the fridge is a decent size, it definitely needed a proper cleaning (some mystery liquid was lurking in the drawers—yikes). The biggest issue? The pool. It’s been out of order for nearly a year, but that wasn’t mentioned anywhere when we booked. If we had known, we absolutely would’ve chosen a different hotel. The photos online are misleading. Cleanliness was also a letdown. One of the bathroom pictures in our room had long hair caked to the glass—like it hadn’t been wiped in forever. And unfortunately, every room our team booked had a weird, musty funk to it that was impossible to ignore. Needless to say, our team won’t be staying here again, and I wouldn’t recommend it to anyone else either—especially if you’re traveling with kids or expecting basic amenities to match the listing.

Centipede found in room crawling on luggage. Ants were found on nightstand table and countertops. Booger found on bathroom wall. Qtips (unused) found in trash cans. Bathtub faucet was molded.

Very comfy. River at the front desk was very kind and great to chat with. Clean but i had to kill two centipedes! Scary lol

Only one washer worked and the size is crazy small for so few to use. Liked the kitchenette.

Keys kept not working. Maintenance on the property was loud

This is a cute little suite! A decent kitchenette that would be great for an extended stay. conveniently located off the highway and close drive to downtown Bloomington. The room, bedding, bathroom, and lobby looked clean and professional.

The place needs a deep cleaning.

The location was accessible and easy to find. However the smell of the elevators about put me over the edge. It smelled like vomit. The refrigerator in our room had a clicking noise the entire time. There was no ice machine on any level except the main/ground floor. No continental breakfast.

I like the late check out time. I didn’t like that the staff knocked on our door prior to check out time. Made us feel rushed and like we had to be out because they wanted to clean the room.

My stay was good. Check in was great. Cindy was very nice, respectful, professional and a great smile.
