Fantastic location and to get around. Room very spacious and everything provided

WE have been fortunate enough to have stayed at over 100 properties using Hotels.com over the last ten years. This is the first negative review we have submitted. The manager Cliff is unbelievably rude and incapable of holding a civil conversation! My wife accidentally broke a mirror in the bathroom mistakenly thinking it was a shaving cabinet with storage behind. I attempted to contact Cliff and on the fifth call he finally picked up and proceeded to advise that if the mirror wasn't paid for in full by 2pm the next day we would be evicted with no refund. He stated that he had received approval from Hotels.com for this course of action which was blatantly untrue. After stating that my wife must have been insane (yes insane) for assuming that a bathroom with no other storage could possibly have a shaving cabinet, he proceeded to rant and rave. It got to the point that I placed my phone on loud speaker so that the friends we were with could hear the tirade, at the end of which he hung up. They were dumb founded. A quick search on the manufacturers website showed that the mirror, which was connected to mains electricity, had been installed incorrectly. I'm sure that the new mirror which we did end up paying for has been installed to manufacturers specifications. There are hundreds of options for accommodation in the nearby area. There are also many fantastic management operations in the area that any owner should consider instead of this buffoon!

Excellent location only down side was the balcony window was overlooked by the barraka garden walkway and if informed of this may have had second thought Room was adequate for us and the bed was very very comfortable

Clean modern apartment with a super comfy bed. The location is great -- a quarter mile from the cathedral/grand master's palace in one direction and a quarter mile from the bus station so that you can sightsee other parts of the island. Everything worked (internet, TV, appliances, lift). Maid service every day. Mostly a quiet neighborhood except when there was an outdoor concert at the Barrakka Gardens at the weekend. We felt very safe. The only downside is the actual location is down a small side street and looks unprepossing -- the taxi driver from the cruise terminal didn't know the address so had to call, plus sometimes the street is blocked off for cars (much of Valletta is pedestrianized). Oh, plus I'd like to see a grab bar in the shower (I'm a senior with poor balance).

Its a lovely set up right next to the Barrakka gardens. No self laundry on site but there is some nearby. Not all rooms have roof access.

It was a very Nice stay

The suites are nicely located not far from the city gates, bourse, and ferry lift but yet in a quiet area, so it’s a good base for Valletta and beyond. It’s a couple short blocks away from car access, FYI. The property is well put together, functional, and updated. Comfortable. The host Cliff was easy to reach with questions s before and during our stay, and he graciously helped us out when our flight got cancelled and we had to update the stay at the last minute. The suites are self-catering like an apartment rental but they do make the beds and clean each day like a hotel. The kitchenette has everything you need except a way to make coffee, like a moka pot. There is a water boiler if you use instant coffee. There is also a Nespresso machine, but Nespresso pods are near impossible to find in Valletta or neighboring Floriana. They will sell you pods for €0.60 each if you arrange in advance — a hassle. Also, the Expedia listing says laundry facilities are available, which is misleading. You can’t do your own laundry there; either you arrange with housekeeping to do it at €2 per item or go a few blocks away to the laundromat on St Pawl. The description should be fixed to not imply you can do laundry onsite as is typical of apartment rentals.

Great central location and lovely flat to base ourselves in

Very nice flat with all amenities you may need during your stay in Malta. Most of all very clean Close to bus station and to the nightlife of Valletta but still very quiet! Cliff has always been very responsive in all our communication. Definitely a place to stay

We stayed for 7 nights and during our stay, we were pleasantly satisfied with our suite. The place is clean and sheets and towels were changed everyday. It was very quiet despite the fact that it was just next to the Upper Barrakka Gardens. We highly recommend this place.

Great location , good size, easy to deal with . Only two minior comments 1) could do with one extra kitchen chair and 2) the bed rooms aren't completely enclosed so noise travels . Would recommend and happily stay there again

The location is great next to the Upper Barrakka Gardens and a across from the Stock Exchange and a good cafe for breakfast.. Very quiet at night.you can take the elevator in the Gardens straight down to the port and take a small.boat across to Vittoriosa. Cliff answered emails promptly. I couldnt find a place to buy milk so it would have been nice to have a list of where a small store might be to get milk and cereal. I looked but to no avail. I should have asked. Luckily my driver knew the combination to get into the building orci would have been in a bind. There are a couple of flights of stairs to the elevator and another flight when you get off so if you have any knee problems becareful as they can be slippery and there isnt a railing.... i grabbed the wall for balance.. the bed is great and so is the a/c.

Excellent location: steps from central square, restaurants on Merchant street, best sightseeing. Very comfortable accommodation with 2 rooms and an equipped kitchen. All appliances work, Apartment is cleaned and tidied up every day like in a hotel. Highly recommend.

The appartment was very comfortable in the best location. However, TV didn’t work, or electric fan, and we did not have access to roof terrace as advertised.

This apartment is lovely and extremely well located for everything. Unfortunately it is very difficult for the taxi drivers to find. Maybe something can be done to alleviate this problem... better signposts.

It was great to be picked up by our ordered taxi as flight had been delayed and after midnight arriving. So very appreciative of that service, thank you. Location is great, right in the middle of old parts, so easy to walk around- Upper Barrakka Gardens and Battery Point fantastic. It was good to be able to spread out in flat.

What a perfect find for our first trip to Malta. We couldn't have chosen better and would definitely stay here again. The roof terrace with a view of the three cities was icing on the cake. Highly recommended to all.
