Unfortunately, this resort did not live up to the expectations of the price. While there were some positives, there were too many drawbacks to justify the cost and not a place id return too. It's extremely remote, so renting a car is essential. The roads leading to & from the resort are narrow, not lit at night & can feel dangerous. There's also no nightlife or anywhere nearby to grab food late in the evening.Parking is very limited, which is frustrating considering we need a car. The resort itself has many inconveniences as well. The pool closes long before sunset, it's not actually an infinity pool & the decking around it is poorly constructed with large gaps. There are also not enough sun loungers, maybe 20 chairs for the entire hotel. The room was clean, must pay to watch tv. The staff was wonderful! friendly, welcoming & always willing to help. Beach was also beautiful! However, the room itself wasn't impressive. Alot of maintenance noise very early in the am (grass cutting, trucks beeping, unrequested roomserv) which isn't ideal when trying to recover from jetlag. The room view was disappointing, & having to insert a key card to activate the electricity is inconvenient, especially if you want to leave items charging. Food was another letdown. Every restaurant requires reservations, making spontaneous dining impossible. The prices throughout the resort are very expensive for what you receive, and we often found bread & salad were running out midday. Oh & alot of mosquitos!
