Room immaculate and quiet although a pub location. Staff friendly and helpful. Parking very busy in the evening but managed to squeeze in. Left too early for breakfast but was provided with sandwich, drink, crisps, fruit and biscuits. Would definitely stay again if visiting the area.

The room was very inviting, comfy and clean. Adam and his team are just amazing so attentive and friendly, food was amazing I will definitely be staying again when in the area and will be recommending this hotel to everyone. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Everything about The White Lion is perfect, the cosy feel, the food, the staff, the rooms and even the customers that attend just makes it a perfect place to visit and stay. Would recommend to the highest level

Chris the owner always makes you feel welcome. Dining in the pub is always a tasty experience, as is the selection of ales on the bar. Rooms are tasteful in good shape, and comfortable. Parking is easy, great value for money

Great stay , only small issue was a very hot bedroom but small window opened which helped slightly . We stayed monday night so no food available but breakfast on tuesday was excellent. Would recommend and would stay again if in the area

Very hostile welcome will return to area but not accommodate. Very rude , looked down on you but quick to take your money and just not welcoming , felt it was an effort for them to be polite. Very dated room for what I paid considering where I stayed previously in comparison. Certainly not child friendly that’s a lie on the website and the breakfast lady was just rude.

A fab one night stay! Great food, lovely spacious room and gorgeous location next to the river. Staff were all friendly and welcoming.

Absolutely gorgeous find, the owner is welcoming & extremely hospitable. Room was outstanding would definitely recommend to eat here. Even made us a breakfast pack up. Only slight point was the noise but to be expected as we were above the bar … but don’t let that put you off. Superb stay highly recommended

The hotel was a good base for the surrounding area. It was very clean and the staff were lovely and helpful. I've given it 4 stars on facilities because our room was quite small and didn't have a lot of room to manoevre around. Also we didn't realise when we booked that the pub didn't do food on the Sunday or Monday evenings and the bar closed early too. Overall a pleasant stay.

Had a fabulous evening and night. The staff were friendly and welcoming. The accommodation a food very good overall. I like absolutely everything. Great hosts, nothing too much trouble. Clean, beautiful room quiet and spacious. Great food choice in the restaurant with very attentive staff.
