Great place to stay

The soundproofing is so poor I could tell whether the people next door washed their hands after flushing the toilet. I could hear their conversations.

We really enjoyed our stay here. Everyone was friendly. There were no issues.

I’m pleased with everything so far been here 3 times for a one night stay to avoid bad weather driving.

Won’t stay here again

Unfortunately I booked third party, and interest in answering my questions upon my arrival was lacking. If Third party bookings are such a pain in the ass, why accept them. I wouldn't book with this location again.

I have stayed at this hotel before, and as always, the room was very clean, the bed was very comfortable, and the staff were pleasant and helpful. It is also a plus that the room included a small fridge and coffee maker, and a large screen TV with a varied selection of free programming.

Great stay!

The area is awful. Felt like walking into a hospital. Was dark in the entrance. Not close to much. Way over priced for the hotel. Would not recommend.

This is the third year we have returned in order to visit our granddaughter who attends Carlton University. It is convenient, appears to be safe and delivers appreciated accommodation.

Easy parking. friendly staff

We has such a comfortable stay here! Check-in was seamless and the room was very well equipped with everything we needed: toaster, dishwasher, fridge, basic cutlery, dishes, etc. There were plenty of towels, the beds were clean, and shortly after we checked in to the room, the front desk called us to ensure we had everything we needed. The only tricky part was limited parking; there were parking spaces but most were full. Besides that, we had a wonderful time and will definitely return!!

Clean and helpful staff. Had to change rooms because downstairs room window didn't lock. Very polite about changing room and upgraded to a suite.

This nice little hotel was on a main road (Carling Ave) leading into the city from the west, with several other options getting there also, about 15 minutes. Also a very convenient bridge over to Gatineau without going all the way into the city. We discovered we were very close to the SW end of the ice skating hub on the famous Rideau Canal, at Dow's Lake, with tons of recreation there summer and winter. Also the street that is Little Italy leads directly away from Carling Ave and Dow's Lake too, so the hotel has some good things going if you don't want to pay daily parking prices at the city hotels (which don't all have parking anyway). Good bus line outside the hotel too. Bed was super comfortable, room was spacious. We had a standard king.

Clean hotel with very friendly and helpful staff

Easy to access. Due to the bad weather the entrance to the lobby was wet, salt stained and slippery The room was great, very clean and comfortable. The restaurant downstairs was good, great service, good prices and food. Overall I would definitely stay again
