We had a wonderful stay at Sansou Tanaka. The location is peaceful, the hosts are very kind, and the breakfast is incredibly delicious!

This place is in a quiet area in Yufuin. Open fields and mountains in the background give you an amazing view from your room for sunsets, or sunrises. The staff are friendly, helpful, and welcoming. This is secluded enough to enjoy a quiet stay, but still be close enough to drive to Beppu and Oita to enjoy the city attractions.

Beautiful and clean ryokan with private onsen. Surrounding was also great for a walk or bicycle riding. Breakfast bento is also very tasty.

Location is slightly off from the main stretch but it would be great if you drive. Love the quiet area and how the whole ryokan is preserved so well and clean! It exceeded my expectations of the stay!

Wonderful location, onzen and wished we were staying longer!

Basically it's really great: Japanese taste, Good hot spring, informative front desk, and so on. While the WiFi speed was a little bit slow, and it's a little bit far from the city central and station. Yufu here is actually a countryside so most of the shops and restaurants are closed after 5 p.m.

Truly amazing! It offers perfect orientalist views from both inside and outside. You can see Yufu mountain top from the little Japanese garden outside the main entrance. The breakfast is a germ too.

Overall the owner is very helpful.However their mattress are not very comfortable maybe it is old and very thin.

The hotel is located in a quiet area but just a 10 minute walk to the train station and the shopping area. Our room had a nice mountain view. The hotel has 3 private onsens which are used for shower as well.

温泉が貸切なので男女関係なく入れる。家族やカップルにはいいです。周りには何もなく買い物に少し困りますが、コンビニが少し進めばあるのであらかじめ買うのがいいです。おそらく夫婦での営業だと思いますが、対応が素晴らしかったです。とても落ち着きます。

外観、内装共、雰囲気が最高で清潔感も大変感じらました。お風呂は内湯2つと外湯1つで非常に肌にサラサラで気持ちがいい温泉でした。朝食はお弁当、味噌汁、お茶で何を食べても美味しかったです。オーナーさんも感じの良い方で丁寧に対応下さいました。

Wonderful place to stay in Yufuin. It is a bit away from the main street so it is very quiet and peaceful. Onsens (indoors and outdoor) experience were wonderful. The owners were really kind and helpful with instructions on the city's attractions and several important locations. The station is about 10 minutes away, so easy to reach. The best experience is the morning bento, which was of the highest qualities and with the great view towards the garden. I would visit again for sure.

유후인의 평화로운 료칸을 즐기기에 최적의 장소입니다. 위치도 역에서 걸어갈정도의 거리이고, 온천도 혼자 쓸 수 있어 좋고 음식 데워먹는 것도 편했어요. 숙소 들어가실때 시내 편의점에서 꼭 저녁 사서 가세요. 재방문 의사 100%입니다.
