My daughter stayed in this hotel with small black ants in the bed room and bathroom. The represantative said to my child that the windows might be close to avoid this situation. I told her that this was not the reason and nothing has been done until my daughter left the house. Thanks

Very comfortable night spent in this hotel! The only thing needed was soap in the bathroom to wash your hands and some coffee and more choice of teabags!

It’s a unique town

We had a night to spend before our flight out of Malaga airport and booked this hotel on a whim and let's me just say were very pleasantly surprised! Not only did it give us an opportunity to explore the beautifuk pueblo, the hotel itself was lovely! The staff who greeted us was very friendly and accomodating and the neighbourhood around the hotel is just so beautiful. Even though it was a cold winter evening, we loved walking around and grabbed dinner at a family owned restaurant nearby which was delicious! Loved our stay!

good location, very center of the old village. When we checked in we were allocated room 11, a very disappointing room. poor beds and not enough storage for our clothes ect. I returned to the reception and told them that room was unsuitable for a 8 night stay, we were given another room, no3, that was much better but the bed was so uncomfortable, did not sleep very well

This hotel has no staff on the premises. You have to check in at a different hotel and drag your cases through the streets and then up the stairs, there is no lift. We had a leak in the ceiling that they couldnt fix that day so with water all over the floor we had to change rooms. There were ants in the new room. It is like a hostel with no facilities at all. We asked to use the pool of the sister hotel but they refused. Beeakfast is just a cold buffet. The same each day. Very poor. The only positive is the location in the village, which is beautiful.

Nice hotel, but, because it was all tiled, noisy in the morning, mainly because of room servicing. Beds being shifted, etc. Lovely area, clean and good service.

Traditionally Spanish hotel. Very clean and reasonably priced. Excellent location. Recommend a visit

A very enjoyable stay in our favourite beautiful village. Location is great, right in middle of village. Breakfast was excellent. Would defitely recommend. Room had small balcony and was very clean and comfortable.

Stayed here 3 times now always been completely satisfied with everything would definitely recommend .

For the price I did not expect much, but was pleasently surprised. Cleanliness and quality of service were excellent. I am going back in September and will definately try to book accomodation in this hotel

Excellent b&b pretty townhouse in centre of Pueblo owned by nearby hotel La Fonda where you check in . Simple clean rooms with good bathroom & shower , kettle but take own tea coffee & milk . Excellent buffet continental breakfast with excellent selections of bread , rolls , cheeses, cakes & pastries , coissants etc , good coffee and freshly cooked eggs on request from the ladies , Fanny & Anna , looking after brekfast . Thank you Antonio (owner ) for a superb stay.

Took a gamble on this one star on the strength of previous reviews and was pleasantly surprised ,with a 4 star sister hotel in next street ( where we had to check in ) the hotel is run to similar standards and would definitely return ,the surrounding area was very traditional and quiet with plenty of quality eateries and bars all in all very pleased we gave it a chance

On arrival check in is at La Fonda. This is just a five minute walk from La Posada. Any information you would like about the surrounding area, places to visit or bus routes will be given by the friendly helpful reception staff at La Fonda. They will also provide maps of the resort (Benalmadena Pueblo and Benalmadena Costa) along with local bus timetables. The two ladies who look after breakfast and cleaning at La Posada speak a little english and are also very friendly and helpful.

The breakfast was very good. The rooms are very clean, but basic.

Very relaxing as it was lovely and quiet .within easy distance of restaurants and bars and nice walks round the village. The shower in the room needs a little negotiation so as not to flood the bathroom.
