This property was like taking a step back in time. The reception staff was very nice. The location is amazing with a minute walk to the beach and a view of the beach. It’s not on the beach but is very close to it. It is also very close to town. The rooms are odd. Definitely not up to American standards. Think like an old Holiday Inn room. The linens are bad and the shower is so odd. One of our rooms had a completely open shower with no door. It had a partition with holes so water got everywhere. The bed was not comfortable at all. They use physical keys with a wall AC unit. The patio doors were broken on both of our rooms. It was just a very strange place. The location and staff were so nice that I feel bad about leaving a bad review. But I also want to help out my fellow travelers and be honest about it. This was an odd experience that ruined my Naxos stay. Go much higher end. You get what you pay for.

Loved this hotel. Very much a "villa, family-run" vibe. Positives: 10 steps from the beach, 15 min walk to the centre of town, nice pool - under utilized, on the boardwalk with good bars and restaurants, breakfast was included, and great staff. It is at the end of the boardwalk, so it is a bit quieter which made it great for beach use, restaurants, etc. Beach is beautiful - sandy, large, calm waters, shallow. There is a fridge in the room and a grocery store about a 5 min walk so you can grab some snacks/drinks etc. to keep in the room. Staff helped us get a taxi to the port and rent a car for touring the island. It was affordable and very easy. For families - there is a bin of water toys & sand toys that you can use. Of Note: Breakfast is more continental style - there are eggs and savory stuff, but it is not a super large breakfast. Homemade style food. Wi-fi is a bit spotty, but didn't have many issues with it. Room service will make room up daily, but may not get you new glasses, and there is no coffee machine just a kettle. Overall - 4.5/5 for this hotel. Great, great stay and would definitely recommend.

This property was a great option for those wanting to be near the beach but still somewhat close to town, or if you've rented a car. Towels were included for the pool and while there is beach access, there are no towels or loungers provided for the beach. The neighbouring restaurant Sun Kyma did have loungers available free of charge in the month of May and we happily utilized theirs, but charges start June 1st. Housekeeping at this property happened late in the day, both times after the stated hours, which became inconvenient for us as we would return to our room in the afternoon when shops closed between 3-6pm. The breakfast was lovely. The hotel and loungers are a bit dated, but seem to be in line with Naxos in general. Walking into town from here takes about 20 minutes, which was totally fine for us but might be too much for some.

The hotel was near a beach which was nice, but the farthest one from town. The rooms were a bit dated, for example, there was a curtain used for a bed cover on the side bed, somewhat of an open shower/bathroom and our chairs on the patio were missing 2 cushions. And the breakfast was very basic. Although staff was very friendly. Next time we'd look for a closer location to town and one with a slightly younger crowd.

Ideal hotel, generous room sizes, considerate design and attention to detail, non-corporate, kind staff and in perfect location for a holiday in Naxos. Easy to walk into town by beach or through the streets, the beach is on your doorstep if you want to swim in the sea and there is also a lovely pool at the hotel. Close to a bus stop if you want to venture over to the bigger beaches south of Naxos Town. We came for three nights and then changed our holiday plans so we could return for a further three nights. Naxos is the best island and we say Alkyoni is the best hotel.

Nice family owned hotel with a good restaurant, excellent bartender, and pool. Our friends had a hot tub patio, and that was great for a rainy chilly day we had. One drawback that all 3 different rooms our group had was that there was no shower curtain or anything to block the water from getting everywhere. It was cumbersome to shower. Hanging ceiling shower curtain rods would help so much.

We had the triple room sea view and the view of the pool and sea from our room was lovely. There’s a very convenient grocery store a quick walk away that is amazing more like a department store! The beach is a stone’s throw away with a boardwalk you can walk to Naxos town in about 15-20 minutes lots of shops and restaurants. The restaurant at the hotel had a first class buffet breakfast and the restaurant had good food for dinner too. Katerina at the front desk was excellent and helpful with any request, all the staff was excellent and friendly. I highly recommend!

Great hotel and my second stay in three years. Staff are nice, the resort quiet and the location is phenomenal, being set off the beach (protected from the wind), and just a 20 minute stroll or so to Naxos old town. Best of both worlds. I was in a Natura Jr. Suite as with my last stay, a bit pricey but I think worth the difference.

Overall experience was ok, but we were expecting way more after seeing the pictures they post online, they are outdated as the hotel needs a lot of maintenance, sunbeds and most of the furniture are old. The pool area needs to be cleaned and the breakfast was very poor, always the same food and very limited options. The good thing is that stuff was very helpful and friendly but won’t recommend this hotel unless you find a very good deal, not our case

We loved this hotel was super quiet and quaint the staff is super nice and helped us arrange taxis! The only things didn’t love was I felt there was so many bees around the pool area and even the beach but I am allergic and this definitely made me feel very uncomfortable they definitely don’t spray anything to keep them away. As well as the dinner/ lunch options were okay I recommend walking up the board walk 5 mins into town and getting food there instead. The breakfast was good in the morning they only have bacon every other day and make these hot dog looking things that I was disappointed they didn’t offer a different breakfast meat. Besides that we loved our room the only bad thing is when you leave the room and take the key with you the AC shuts off so it does get warm up there during the day. As well as the shower being super messy the water goes literally everywhere if they got new shower heads I think it could solve this problem. We definitely would love to come back here and love Naxos there is so much to do and shopping. We also did horseback riding through the Naxos horseback riding club that come right through on St. George’s beach you will see was an amazing ride! Eat at little small restaurants in town have the best food!

Lovely property, rooms lovely and spacious, the bathroom was great, small criticism the shower was placed weirdly over a corner bath so the floor used to get very wet. Kept spotlessly clean. It was a 30 second walk to a gorgeous beach and lovely bars/restaurants. Highly recommend

We loved our stay at charming Alkyoni! Naxos was our favorite part of our trip to Greece. The hotel is in a great location steps to the beach and walkable to town, but still quiet and private. The pool area is fantastic and the staff was wonderful. The breakfast was very similar each day, but it was yummy and refreshed regularly so it met our needs just fine. Shower took some getting used to (sprayed all over the bathroom the first day) but once we got the hang of how to avoid that, it was fine. Rooms were cute and had everything we needed.
