A wonderful hotel in a beautiful village.

Our room was rarely cleaned for the five nights we were there

Our stay was really good, perfect for a stopover & short visit to cotswolds. Peaceful setting Inn was beautifulwith lovely outdoor setting, room was clean & comfortable, bit warm but was ok Food & service was excellent

The building and grounds are wonderful. The hotel in parts are lovely but it’s a tad tired in parts. Breakfast was good and dinner was ok.

It’s the Cotswolds .. what more is there to say .. Only slight issue was housekeeping, had to ask for toilet rolls, tea, and water … bed making leaves a lot to be desired but it’s just a bed .. food was lovely, breakfast is great …

Fantastic property in a beautiful setting surrounded by the most beautiful villages and countryside you can imagine. Great rooms, excellent breakfast, wonderful bar and dining. Will definitely return.

Fantastic hotel, great food.

Second receptionist warmer than 1st. Maybe the offer of calling us when the room was ready instead of asking us to call to see if the room was ready would have been more efficient/going the extra mile. Food was lovely, lovely village location. Shame the sewage works was going on whilst we visited but not hotels fault. Don’t agree with the service charge automatically being put on the food bill, food was lovely but not cheap and then 10% charge on top for serving two people. To be fair everywhere seems to be doing this now, I think it should be left to the customer to decide if they want to tip and how much. Would recommend and visit again for an overnight stay.

As usual excellent stay

Hotel staff were friendly and the location is great. Food was very good, particularly breakfast. A few mishaps but didn’t spoil the experience ie charged again for the room even though I had paid in advance. The room although clean may have been finished in a hurry as no shampoo, soap etc. One recommendation would be a different bar menu with lighter choices for those who don’t want to eat in the restaurant.

Beautiful location, chocolate box pretty. Well appointed hotel with comfortable rooms, good menu and friendly staff. Only criticism would be that service was a little slow, but the food was good once it came. Would stay again.

Property was a bit tired in terms of decor, furniture and amenities. Particularly for the price point, it should be nicer & better quality. We arrived about 1pm, so earlier than check in, and went to the front desk to see if you could check in early or leave out bags. Before we could say anything we got told ‘check in isn’t until 3’ - which we were aware of but just found very abrupt and not very welcoming. When we finally did check in, the other lady (think she was called Zoe) was lovely. Our room, Hawtrey (maybe), a deluxe room, was very spacious but the noise heard from the family above was really really loud. I wouldn’t recommend.

Lovely hotel, attentive staff. We had a wonderful meal in the hotel. Would stay here again.
