Loved everything about this place. Location is fantastic as it’s literally a minute away from Quadrado by foot. Staff is awesome and incredibly friendly and helpful (Thiago, Wesley and Nubia were amazing). Breakfast is fantastic with plenty of options and everything is made daily and always fresh. I stayed at room 7 and it was spacious with a large bedroom, awesome bed and a large washroom (only downside was the shower - way too hot). They also have free parking which is key for a place so close to Quadrado. Extras: nice jacuzzi (you have to book a time slot with the front desk) plus the hotel itself is next to the exit to a few beaches and the main highway, which is convenient. Definitely recommend and would easily go back and stay at this place.

Amazing place

I spent one night at the Pousada Calypso. The welcome was adequate but rather basic; the staff did their job without being particularly attentive. The place is quiet, with a beautiful view and a lovely pool, making it a pleasant place to relax. The jacuzzi is only accessible by reservation, for a one-hour session. Breakfast was rather mediocre, with limited choices. The room, however, was spacious with excellent bedding and very comfortable. A minor drawback: no soap in the shower and very low water pressure. In conclusion: a quiet place with a beautiful view, nice for a night, but not really "wow" if you're looking for a 100% relaxing experience.

Os detalhes importam mas nesta pousada, nem o básico funciona bem! O nosso objetivo era curtir a noite de Trancoso e escolhemos a pousada Calypso para nos hospedar. A estrutura da pousada é boa e a localização é realmente incrível mas infelizmente a experiência com serviço é PÉSSIMA. Atendimento horrível, os funcionários demonstram que estão ali como se estivessem “te fazendo um favor”. Não são cordiais e nem se demonstram proativos hora alguma. A recepcionista da noite fica o tempo todo no celular em ligação com as amigas e não levanta nem a cabeça pra te dar um boa noite, perguntar se precisa de algo… A exceção é o recepcionista Rubens e a Ana que trabalha no café da manhã. O chuveiro sai pouca água, não funciona a tv. Tivemos que pedir sabonete na recepção pq no quarto não tinha nenhum para, ao menos, lavar a mão. Ficamos realmente muito decepcionados. Estávamos hospedados em Caraíva anteriormente e o atendimento lá foi fabuloso… foi triste a transição.

A pousada é muito charmosa, super arborizada, tem jacuzzi, a piscina é linda!! Quarto confortável e o café da manhã é incrível! Ana que faz o atendimento no café é muito querida!! A pousada oferece água, café e bolos a tarde...amei!
