Beyond being close to the port, this hotel is simply a series of unfortunate events - the room smelt of smoke, there was old trash in the garbage can, water pooling in the shower, mold on the ceiling of the bathroom, and the vinyl covering of the table on the balcony shed on me. Would not recommend

The room was ideal for a one night stay. Great location. A bit dated. We were lucky to have a parking spot in front of the hotel. Very good breakfast. Would recommend this hotel.

I stayed at three hotels on my last trip to Greece, they were all good but Kronos was the star. It had a good air-conditioning, good wifi, a great shower with fantastic water pressure and a really good breakfast buffet (the yogurt is particularly good). It's also located in a very beautiful and convenient part of town. There's really good restaurants and cafes just outside the hotel. The Venetian castle, historical centre and bus to Knossos are all less than 5 minutes away. But the best part is the staff. They respond to emails promptly, are courteous, speak fluent English and were available to assist whenever asked asked. Kronos hotel is a true hidden gem amongst Heraklion hotels..

Decent stop in if you’re driving through to another destination or waiting to catch the ferry. Fairly run down and not overly clean.

The staff was fantastic. In particular, Sylvia was most helpful when I checked in, and assisted me with a boarding pass and obtaining me a taxi.

Sylvia at the front desk was wonderful and extremely helpful. The bathrooms were a little small and the room felt damp at times. Rooms were clean and well maintained. Close to the ferry terminal and convenient to center city

The property is old but clean, sea side, convenient walking, helpful staff. Breakfast is nice, good quality coffee machine. The rooms feel small, the bathrooms are clean but small, you shouldn’t drink the tap water. But bottled water and a small refrigerator is provided.

Perfect location, very central, amazing water pressure in the shower, clean and comfortable, and we really enjoyed our stay

Great location, sea view, clean, English language spoken, lots of restaurants nearby Negatives, it is an older building, smallish rooms, busy street.

Great location for seeing Heraklion and catching bus to Knossos. We were there only for one night and were able to leave luggage for a few hours on check out. Breakfast was lovely with a nice variety.

Excellent location and good breakfast.

We stayed 2 nights. The facility is not new and the room and bathroom on the small side, but it was clean and well kept. Location was fantastic, we had an ocean view room and it was a short walk to the old harbour and the vibrant restaurant and shopping streets. Breakfast included hot and cold items and the area was kept clean. Overall good value for the price.

Breakfast had sweet and savoury options. Hotel staff was absolutely incredible!! we were asked as we were leaving the hotel after settling in the first day if everything was already. Served its purpose with a comfortable bed, functioning air conditioning and a lovely little balcony. It was very well located, being a 5 minute walk from the port and a 10 minute walk from the market area. Absolute lovely experience

Location close to center of city and waterfront was great. Room was spacious and bathroom as well. The breakfast buffet was good yet modest. It was noisy at night as the major street runs right in front of the hotel.

The staff, especially Sylvia, was friendly and helpful. She gave good recommendations for restaurants. She also helped to arrange for a good tour and the taxi for leaving by the port. The hotel is in easy walking distance of the pedestrian ways in the city enter, albeit uphill. Of course, that means it is downhill back to the hotel.😄

Everything was great at Kronos, wish we could stay longer. Highly recommend this hotel for friendly and helpful staff, great location, easy parking and great breakfast. We specifically selected this hotel as we were taking a ferry and could drop rental car at Port. Also, very few hotels start breakfast at 6:30 am which we needed to catch ferry. Breakfast included scrambled eggs, hard boiled eggs, cheeses, meats, etc. Was raining upon check in and we were wet, Nikos was so kind offering an umbrella and providing a parking spot in front of hotel. Such a relief! Highly recommend staying here!

The breakfast was very nice, staff was wonderful. Parking is close by. Beautiful view
