Balangan Hostel Paradise is located near the beautiful and satisfying Balangan beach, just steps from my hotel room directly on the beautiful Balangan beach. I think the sand, wind and waves are perfect. From the hotel room I was able to walk to the cliffs of the beach which gave an amazing view. The best time to go to the cliff is just before sunset. Can also be found many couples who do shoot prewedding session on the cliff. In terms of access to transportation, when I arrived there was indeed a lot of writing about prohibitions from online transportation to transport passengers in the Balangan beach area. At first I was confused about how I was going to travel from the hotel because the location of the hotel was far away, but next to the hotel there were motorbike and car rentals. With 60 thousand per day I can use a motorcycle to get around. My decision to rent a motorbike was quite right, not only because the price was much cheaper than renting a car, but because the trip from Balangan beach to the city / GWK passed through the village with pleasant cafes (which seemed to be owned and managed by expat). The cafes have unique and comfortable decorations. Some also provide fresh Crois Santa every morning. Unfortunately, despite being surrounded by beautiful beaches and pleasant village cafes, Balangan Paradise Hostel facilities are quite disappointing for me. When I arrived, the room air conditioner was not cold and even worse there were no towels in the room. I asked for a towel for me but the hotel staff said that the towel was still on the way after it was finished in the laundry. Really unprofessional. Not even toilet paper is provided on the toilet, the shower water flows small and there is no water heater. There is no electricity source near the bed. If I want to charge my cellphone, I have to fill it near the door which is far from my bed. The lights are also not too bright at night, it is not convenient to read a book in the room at night and the worst is on the first day I stayed while taking a nap, my door was knocked and I was awakened. The hostel clerk said that the air conditioner would be washed. I certainly objected, I complained and said that I was a guest and was asleep, why was I woken up for AC washing activities. They apologized and kept asking for permission to wash the air conditioner. Should I understand because I stayed at a hostel? With the same price, my colleague got a hotel room with much better facilities than I got, even though my friend's hotel is located in the center of the city not located in the beach like Balangan Paradise Hostel that I occupied. Of course every inn has its pluses and minuses. My advice to Balangan Paradise Hostel is to be able to improve facilities and services. Maybe now only Balangan Paradise Hostel is the only inn located on the shores of Balangan so that tourists choose the inn to stay, but in the future there will be new accommodations with better facilities, of course tourists will choose other hotels.
