The property was in nice condition, and the staff acted like they wanted me there.

I stayed here for 2 nights on a longer business trip. It’s a great hotel and the staff are excellent. The restaurant was also great for a dinner. Breakfast was ok but still apart of the booking. My room was pretty large with an awesome view, I had a small kitchen in my room too.

Hotel was nice, clean, and staff was very friendly. However, their standard rooms are really, really small. Good for one person, but two is 'cozy'. :-) The view to the water made it up for it though.

Arrived very late. Check-in fast. Room was clean and ready. Stayed two nights and check-out was easy. Very functional visit which just what I wanted. Good value for money.

Centrally located the hotel is easy to find. Check in was efficient and friendly staff. The room was good enough size. I had dinner at the restaurant. Albeit a little pricy, it was good and the staff excellent. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Very good value for money!

Great service, perfect location, very good breakfast, economical (got a last minute deal). Fantastic view over the harbour and the little white whale (Hvaldimir). Little inconvenience from late night noise connected to the annual "Hammarfest-dagan" festival, but not very late and not every night. Sofa bed a bit too small for two grown teenagers.

Rooms are small but well formed and thought out, guess that's what they mean by smart. Unfortunately some of the low budget touches can affect your stay - the shower was a little cramped and the blind over the window was inexpertly cut leading to a reasonable amount of light leaking in all night (sun does not set here in winter). On the plus side the WIFI worked well, the attached restaurant is nice and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

My flight was diverted due to a heavy snow shower so I did not arrive until 3am. Receptionist was there, and she processed my check-in very fast so I could get to bed. Good bed and a warm duvet. I had to be up by 7am but I felt rested. Then I had an excellent breakfast which helped me get through my all-day meeting.

It was clean but the room and bath were tiny. Just enough room for the bed and a small ledge/desk at the foot of it. No nightstands. But the bigger problem was no phone in the room and no clock. So no possibility of a wake-up call or alarm.

Smarthotel - no individual temp control in room - stupid! Smarthotel - jamming a queen bed against 3 walls - stupid! Smarthotel - making shower door go invards into shower small shower cubicle - stupid!

Evening meal choice was limited, incl wine. White wine was warm. red wine was cold. "Oooph" meal choice was poor.

good experience, comfortable, staff was kind, helpful, friendly. a bit small though but overall clean and well-kept.

The only real problem with the hotel is the lack of parking. Street parking is hard to find and the nearest parking garage is a bit of a walk, particularly in bad weather. Note that the single rooms are efficient - bed, small desk, chair and bathroom. Not a place to entertain, and a bit tight if you are use to large hotel rooms.
