The Sun Hotel is excellent, close to Sun City Mall and a wide selection of entertainment options. The rooms are spacious, clean, and comfortable. The breakfast menu is varied and tasty.

Anyway, if you go to Madiun, definitely book The Sun Hotel, it's cool.

Had to have the ancient AC serviced twice. Poop-looking stain on the wall by the bathroom. The staff makes an unbearable amount of noise when they clean the rooms. They do not care about the comfort of the guests.

Thank God, it was already evening. The journey back home from Solo was tiring, so we looked for a hotel close to shopping and souvenir shops. The Sun Hotel was chosen. Check-in was quite quick, and the receptionist was very clear in conveying the information we needed. When we arrived at our room, thankfully, it was quite spacious, with standard amenities and adequate lighting. Oh yes, there was even something different from other hotels: a copy of the Quran and a prayer mat were on the shelf. The bathroom was quite clean with standard amenities, with a shower and hot water working properly. The bed was quite comfortable, though it would be nice to add more pillows for added comfort. Another plus is that the hotel is connected to a mall, with a door leading into the mall, so you don't have to drive if you want to shop there. Also nearby is the legendary Madiun pecel rice restaurant, Yu Gembrot, which we can reach on foot, while also looking for traditional snacks south of the hotel. Thankfully, there were no issues until check-out, and the staff on duty made things easy. Thank you.
