Very nice owner and good service. Our room was decent, not perfectly clean or the most updated but for the price I was happy. We stayed during the winter time and there was full control over the heat but the bathroom was cold and the shower wasn’t consistent with temperature.

Staff very nice. Air conditioner a little noisy and rather dusty. Had all the amenities I was looking for (a comfortable bed and some clean water). I’m not happy about the price I paid (i.e not the greatest value) but other lodging in the area on this website was 3 or 4 times as expensive so maybe I should have booked weeks in advance.

Unfortunately nothing. The motel was falling apart. The room was tiny and filthy dirty. The walls had dirt all over. Cigarette burns on all the furniture. The pool was half filled with black water like a horror movie. The Carpet was fixed with ducked tapes. I have pictures to prove this. I paid 197.00 for a night only to learn the normal rate is 59.00 dollars. Complete disappointment. Will never use Expedia again.

We just needed a place to stop overnight, so this motel was Ok - bed sheets were clean and shower worked. I wouldn’t stay here though if I were visiting the area. It’s quite run down.

Overall, it was good for the price paid. Bathroom door had lock missing. Other guests were smoking while sitting out, and we hate the smoke smell. Other than these, it was good.

The room was clean, plenty of closet and drawer space. The owner/staff were very friendly and helpful in directing us where to go and how to get there. Unfortunately there is a pool at this location but it does not work, there is a small playground for children, and all the amenities a within walking distance from the hotel and if you are going by bus, you can catch the bus out front of your hotel that will take you right down to the falls. The hotel rate was more then reasonable for someone not wanting to spend alot of money. Overall we were very satisfied with our stay and look forward to returning in the near future

i had to wait like 20 mins for check in. no one was there,the number linked wirh expedia isnt even rhe number. i had to call a number that was on the door. the owner wasnt even on site.if you are running a hotel or motel you should be available. theroom was clean only down fall is that it had a bad smell of cigarettes.

Used the app to book and used the pay at the hotel feature, it was $95.00. They decided to cancel our reservation without a call or e mail to notify us. Our friends booked the same kind of room less than a day later and were charged $295! When we got to the hotel they said we had pay a walk in fee of $150.00. So our friends became upset because the walk in fee was significantly lower than what they paid. We did NOT end up staying there we went down the street to the Blue Moon Inn and OMG service was incredible! He was nice and understanding and even offered us his umbrella (it was raining) so we could go to the outdoor concert we had planned. Would NEVER recommend the Star inn, just awful. When asked to explain why they cancelled our reservation she just said that’s what we had to do in case you didn’t come.
