Our stay at the Dean Dublin was quaint. The staff we came across during our six day stay were all very friendly and accommodating. There was construction going on during our stay but it wasn’t loud nor an inconvenience. The hotel is close to the hustle and bustle but not too close that it still feels private. It’s in a lovely neighborhood, with lots of restaurants nearby. The only con was that the room was smaller than we had expected, but that’s a given being that it has “cozy” in the name. If we would stay again most likely we would go for the bigger rooms. All in all our stay was great, we enjoyed our time in Dublin, and we would recommend a stay at the Dean Dublin.

The staff at this hotel were absolutely amazing, genuinely friendly and always ready to help. The room was very clean, though quite small, and the layout made the shower a bit awkward to access. The sink is positioned so close to the bathroom door that it doesn’t fully open, which can be inconvenient. Adding a flat iron would be a nice add on, The Dean Galway had some and it was great! The hotel is located in what seems to be a lively clubbing area, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to noise or prefer a quieter environment. But it's so c'ose to everything else in Dublin! Very very nice stay at this hotel! :)

My stay at here was fantastic! The front desk staff was extremely friendly and provided me with a plethora of recommendations for local restaurants, shops and things to do. I am already looking forward to my next stay here!

The staff at reception were awesome. Very helpful with suggestions on what to do for our week end in Dublin. The location was perfect and quiet in our room. The negative was our room was the tiniest I’ve ever stayed in. No room for our suitcases, the hairdryer had to be plugged in by the bed with no mirror. The bathroom sink was so tiny that water splashed all over the floor with barely enough room to wash hands. I would stay again only if I had a bigger room.

Hotel was very convenient and clean, cool vibe. Definitely need to be aware that there are clubs surrounding the hotel and they are loud until about 3:30am The conceirge mentioned this upon check in but I wish I knew ahead of time as it was VERY loud. They do provide earplugs which were helpful. Not sure I would stay again due to nose which is unfortunate as the hotel itself was great!

Worth noting that being next door to a night club sleep isn’t easy.

Nice enough staff at check in but not so helpful when they changed shifts to different staff, hotel a bit tired and overcrowded at ground floor restaurant / breakfast room .. amenities good with gym sauna and pool

A lovely boutique hotel in a great central spot. Modern, comfortable, and the staff couldn’t have been more helpful, brilliant recommendations and a really welcoming atmosphere.

Was put into a room which was right next door to a nightclub until 4am!! Did not show this as advertised. Also the whole reason I booked was because of the roof top bar and this was closed for refurbishment. False advertising. Unhappy with Expedia.

Really enjoyed the location (it's a little noisy but so central!). Beautiful reception area, fun times.

On arrival we were notified that the roof top restaurant would be closed for the duration of our stay The main reason to book this hotel was for the restaurant and have breakfast there daily The staff did not share any concern to rectify this at all When checking in I was ask to wait while the reception took 5 phone calls

I wasn't able to make my stay at the Dean, as my flight was cancelled last minute. Extremely disappointing as the hotel looked fantastic especially the pool and sauna. After lots of discussions they refunded my room, which I was very grateful for. I hope to book with them again!

Staff were great!

I had read in the review comments that there was noise, I was not expecting the level of noise in my room that we had. Our bedroom was right next to a nightclub and it was like sleeping in a nightclub from 11 pm till 3 am.. the base vibrated the whole room. They don’t shy away from this as there were earbuds next to the bed, but I had to use ear buds and sleep with a pillow over my head, yet couldn’t sleep as the base was so strong. The rooms are nice but I wouldn’t recommend staying as you can’t control which room you’ll be getting.
