Blue views studio has a new feel, very clean, user friendly, safe and comfortable. We didn’t use the kitchen, but had 2 electric hobs, microwave/combined oven and fridge. Beds were very comfortable. There are paid security wandering the streets for safety 24/7. Be aware the Uber/taxi will deliver you to the back of the property in another street. You will need to be aware of the exact location so they pick/drop off at the correct address. Also be aware NOX will send you emails to access the property, and the property needs to be paid 2 weeks before - not at property as Expedia instructs. Supehog will email you separately to pay the damage waiver. I hope Expedia add this to their instructions. All in all, I would recommend this property in Bakoven as a stay within walking distance to Camp’s Bay (during daylight hours).

I checked in on a cold, winters afternoon for a short but sweet visit. Upon arrival I was graciously greeted and showed around my 'pad' for the weekend. Located in the heart of Camps Bay this unique self catering unique is truly a little piece of heaven. A mere stones throw away from one of Cape Towns finest beaches as well as the vibrant Camps Bay lifestyle you cant help but feel like you are on vacation. There are some incredible restaurants and bars within walking distance adding value to the experience. The unit itself is modern, clean and secure fitted with all the amenities essential for any traveller/guest. Waking up to that fresh, sea breeze was the cherry on top of a wonderful stay.Highly recommend and will be back soon for sure!

The apartment is beautifully furnished and well appointed. It has all you need, and the added grocery items left in the refrigerator and kitchen is a nice touch to get your vacation started. The location is amazing and one can easily walk to beaches, stores and restaurants. The place feels a little bit like a hole underground because there are no windows with any views. What you see in the pictures in what you get. But we hardly spent any time in our place. The reason for the four starts is that 1. the place is run like a hotel and there is little to no flexibility to changing check out times. 2. there is no place to plug in the hair dryer in the bathroom, so one needs to use the hairdryer either in the living room or on the bed, but nowhere near a mirror :)...first world problems, I know.

Great apartment for the price, easy walking distance to main restaurants and beach. Includes use of nearby hotel facilities, including pool and gym. There was a strong drain smell in the apartment at times, however I noticed the same smell in a few ground and first floor buildings when we were in the area, and I think it is related to the severe drought.

Very nice apartment, very nice location, Was not easy to find the apartment when we arrived, the apartment is spacious, very nice furniture, lot of comfort, however, no view at all I was expecting from the hotel name and the relatively high price that I will have a nice view over the Ocean, the flat is in the ground floor , not a single window, there is a sort of Patio at the entrance but a bit noisy as it is close to the road. we met one guy from the staff when we checked in and that's it.

Loved it here. So easy, unfussy and perfect location. The staff can’t do enough for you without being intrusive. Really excellent place. Free laundry, electric bike usage and soft drinks all a nice bonus

At arrival, we were disappointed. No reception area. Had to call. We were directed to the wrong place. Called again to be told that we were at the right place at first. The place is a bit run-down. Those who had a pool were empty. The location of the balcony is on the side of the kitchen. Not very inviting, especially that it was quite messy. It seems that no one is taking care of the external cleanliness. The exterior paint on the building showed leaks of rust. The cleaning lady only came once every two days. There was a big chunks of dust in the closet that stayed there the entire time. Owen, who welcomed us was very pleasant and helpful. There was a big party at the apartment on top of us with visitors who kept ringing our buzzer by mistake and it was quite noisy. Luckily, it only lasted that specific night. Nice view on the ocean. Large and pleasant living room. Well located in Camps Bay. Walking distance to restaurants, beach and touristic hub.

About the apartment: This is definitely not a 4-star accommodation compared to many other 4-starers on very same hotels.com. The address mentioned is different; it is 5, Victoria Road, Clifton and not 6, link road; which, seems to be a 4-star hotel. This was the most disappointment as we trusted mainly on hotels.com for our last minute booking and didn't call the host before booking the apartment. The apartment is literally at road with not much security, road is just 2 doors and 2 steps away from the apartment. And worst case was every night car stayed on the roadside parking under excuses of the parking is full, which means the unit has no dedicated parking, another false statement on hotels.com. After complaining about car parking; we had been asked to come next(our last) day, to office (on link rd) to solve this instead of them solving it upfront. About the interiors: There was a continuous bad odor in toilet; couldn't figure what it was; but, zillion thanks to good quality freshener, had to use it continuously. Also, if anyone is going to not only use the room for overnight stay and if it matters to them, then they should pay attention to the inconvenient interiors of the apartment; where everything is artistically misplaced like kitchen-sink and kitchen-platform are at opposite end of each other; microwave, washbasin and glasses are immediately next to toilet door; couch is facing back to TV; kitchen-platform is at opposite end to fridge, microwave and toaster.

Camps Bay was a great location - a real contrast from our previous days in the centre of Cape Town. Lots of restaurants and a good beach. The apartment made a good change from staying in a hotel.

Wanted to stay close to the beaches and Camps Bay (just a short cab's drive away) and have an ocean view, and got exactly that.

The apartment was a great find. Good location within an easy 10 minute walking distance of the main Camps Bay beachfront. Everything needed to self cater but why bother with so many great eating places on the doorstep? The Hussar Grill does a great steak and the seafront has some wonderful eateries. Codfather is a must for fish and seafood lovers. The staff at Blue Views are delightful and the bed was mega-comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. Don't forget to pack Nespresso coffee capsules to use in the apartment machine!!

Out of four places we stayed at in Cape Town, this was the best. We stayed here for five days beginning on a Sunday near the beginning of Cape Town winter. When we arrived, we were greeted by very helpful staff and shown the amenities of the apartment. The apartment was very roomy and luxurious. It had a comfortable bedroom, very stylish bathroom, a fully equipped galley kitchen, and an outside deck. The living room was very spacious and modern with an amazing view of the Atlantic Ocean on a clear day. A flat screen TV and high speed WIFI to keep one entertained when not appreciating the outside view. Heading to the beach and the ocean was just a short walk from the outside of our doors. Or if we prefer to drive, a parking space is provided just below our apartment. This is one place we will definitely want to stay at again.

Staying in Camps Bay is great, staying in Camps Bay in a very cozy small hotel that offers the peaceful ambience that we were looking for was even better. Being so close to the sea (literally across the street) and so close to the Town's Centre gave us the opportunity to do a lot of staff at our own pace. A great culinary offer, beautiful beach, cool bars and close to Cape Town. The friendly people, the cultural performers on the street, the cool vibe was amazing so that did the rest! Camps Bay is a great place to stay close to the main Cape Town attractions and in the way to the great Cape adventures. For me and my wife was fantastic to come back after 8 years to Cape Town and be able to stay at this paradisiac and beautiful town. We love Camps Bay!

Creepy place at night. Not much happening there even if close to Camps Bay. Food left for breakfast was ok. Never saw the manager. He knocked at the door early on the first morning and we asked him to come back as we needed sleep. Never heard of him again for 3 days. Place is ok but would not recommend.
