Overall was OK but little overpriced as carpets Ned renewal, and walls need painting.

The mattresses were old and we could feel the springs through the surface. There is no elevator, so it was challenging to carry all of our luggage and our baby up the stairs.

Booked a twin room at the Sandyford very last minute (10 minutes before I checked in) and all I can say is the staff were very helpful and welcoming, and the location is excellent if you wanting to explore the West End as it's located just outside the south entrance of Kelvingrove Park, and in the middle of Finneston which has plenty of unique bars and restaurants to explore on a night out. I also thought the price of the room was very reasonable considering it was such a late booking, with it only being £60 on a Thursday night. Only thing resembling a complaint I have is that the shower had no median temperature: it was either scorching hot or freezing cold so you have to fluctuate between them constantly using the dial to get something close to a normal temperature (and considering I was out the previous night into the early hours of the morning, it did wake me from my hangover lol)

This hotel was pretty good. It was in a really good location. It didn’t have anything special but it was clean. The breakfast was not worth it. I would have rather saved the money and went to a coffee shop.

Staff was great and gave wonderful advice on things to see and do. Bathroom was spotless. Rooms were devoid of any decoration, but clean minus some scuffs on the walls. The beds are perfect for those who enjoy a firm mattress. My hips were not a fan.

Room fairly clean, simple building but very old bathroom- no soap/shampoo/gel in the shower but overall a nice, simple experience.

The room was really dated. It was slanted at the top so I kept banging my head. Additionally, the place didn't look like it had been maintained. The water pressure was really low. The worst part is when the toilet was flushed there was a smell which traveled into the room.(On suite). That being said, the staff were really friendly and helpful. They also came in to clean the room and replaced the amenities which was appreciated.

Stated for one night with my daughter in a twin room, the hotel is quite dated (our bathroom looked like it had been updated) it was comfortable and I would stay again

Lovely clean room, plenty of towels, coffee, tea making facilities. Staff were all very helpful pleasant and professional. Plenty of choice for breakfast, toast cereal full breakfast. Parking was slightly problematic with paid in 15 minute intervals but there is a car park within easy walking distance of the hotel. All in all a lovely hotel to stay in.

Cleanliness of the room was poor, had to ask for it to be cleaned as they had no other rooms to move us too. The room itself was filled with worn furniture full of scuffs, chipped & marked. Very low standard for the price of the room. Would not recommend or stay here again.

Property is being renovated, but with minimal disruption. Breakfast is to order and nicely priced. Liked the location with good pubs. Great staff.

I was given a free breakfast because there had been a bit of an issue with the room heater when I stayed last Friday. Then I stayed again on Sunday night and the staff provided me with a breakfast even though I was late and arrived after the cut off time. Full marks to the staff of the Sandy Ford.
