We loved staying in the townhouse. It has a very local style and maintained well. The hosts were very attentive and helpful. The free parking was a great bonus!

Wonderful, accommodating and attentive hosts who help define the expectations of Sicilian hospitality. Epic location - with parking - at the very top of the steps of the amazing city. Get ready to climb! We stayed in a lower level room in the tower- note that it wasn’t clear which room we were supposed to get based on the hotels.com booking, I thought the “tower” meant the room with the view. We had a Bauhaus styled room- it was spacious, but since we don’t love that style of art, it was a bit over the top. The bauhaus room also doesn’t have a table that works well as a desk- only a sight issue if you’re a remote worker like us. WiFi worked reasonably well for Sicily. Breakfast was a more you can eat smorgasbord of various pastries, bread, and yogurt - a different and delicious selection each morning.

Good location in Ragusa superior with close access to Ragusa ibla. Very nice person running the B&B and a nice home made breakfast. There are steps outside to get to the rooms so could be a problem for some, especially with luggage, although they will help you with that and help find street parking.

Because of the restrictions against changing the heritage buildings in old Ragusa the owners, Daniella and Giovanni were severely hampered in converting the old houses to their needs. They have done a good job and the location is excellent for access to restaurants and Ragusa Ibla but the hotel is cramped. We had the room at the top which afforded us the best views of the old city but at a price. We had to climb to the fourth floor up tortuous stairs and thankfully Giovanni carried our luggage both up and down. This climb would be arduous for all but the very fit. Should you wish to stay then request a lower room. Because the hotel is on a narrow street without auto access we had to park our car about 200 meters away. Again Giovanni met us there and took our luggage to and from the car park. Although this review is less tha glowing if you are young, fit and adventurous you will have a fine time here in Ragusa.

We stayed one night and were given a lovely and charming room--decorated in a bohemian style, on the highest level of the building with a lovely little balcony overlooking some of the city. We were on a bike trip, and the manager stored our bikes in her office over night. She was very kind and helpful. Would definitely recommend this place.

We had an excellent stay at Giumbabulla. The room had a beautiful view, was extremely comfortable, awesome air conditioning, had a great shower, comfort all around. The lovely owners picked us up from the train station. We also had a Ryan Air flight and were able to arrange easy travel to Comiso airport. Such a pleasure.

Fantastic place to stay in Ragusa, very friendly hosts, breakfast brought to your room, lovely little balcony to sit out on and eat it, great value for money, would certainly stay again.

We were picked up at the train station on our arrival and delivered to the bus station on our departure. Nothing was too much trouble for our hosts. The breakfast -- delivered to our room --was the best we had in Sicily. The room had a panoramic view of Ragusa and was very comfortable. It was the only place we stayed where a kettle was provided so we could make tea. All in all, a great experience and great value for the price.

As long a walking up the staircase to your room is possible, this place is great. The B and B is in a historic building beautifully refurbished. The location is just at the top of the 250 stairs which drop into the historic Ragusa Ibla. After a nice dinner in Ibla we opted for walking off dinner by walking up. Daniela is very helpful and was available by email for restaurant suggestions. The penthouse suite we chose was beautifully redone with a living room, bedroom, and bath all nicely furnished. We felt like we were local residents. The building is on a walkway so you must part at a piazza about 200 steps away. But you do not want to drive around there. We left the car parked and walked the area, both Ragusa Ibla below and Ragusa Superiore above. Lovely town and this B and B shows the loving care put into it. The upstairs unit has a terrace on which we were served our sumptuous breakfast. More food than reasonable, homemade pizza, yogurt, fruit and a basket of pastries. Eaten while sitting above the rooftops looking down on the City.

Daniela was very helpful and the view was great! It was a nice touch to have breakfast brought to room.

Absolut empfehlenswert - toller Service - super Frühstück aufs Zimmer - sehr ruhige Lage - nur zu Fuss zu erreichen - Parkplatz wurde uns reserviert und stand nach Anruf sofort bereit, etwa 50 m vom Hotel entfernt, tolle Lage, wir würden wieder kommen
