Amazing host, very helpful to the point of being in my top 5 favorite stays

Beautiful old farm house. One bathroom to share for the guests, so we tried to be mindful of the time we spent in the bathroom. We weren’t able to use the pool because we got in late and left early. Breakfast was nice, fruit, coffee, toast, meat/cheese. Overall, very nice experience!

My husband and I were so impressed with the gorgeous building. The stunning surroundings. Violet the owner was so attentive and very friendly.

Beautiful place, family were so welcoming and kind and just a few minutes from the airport.

Very nice situated countryside accommodation. Very quiet. Not far from attractions for the kids and adults. Private swimming pool. Family atmosphere and very kind, helpful and friendly owners. I will recommend for single, couples and families. Unforgettable stay.

Very nice and quiet B&B located not far from the airport. Violet the owner of the house is lovely and will talk to you till the cows come home and has plenty advice to give.

The hosts, Albert and Violet couldn't have been more kind, accomodating and friendly. We ate a dinner there and it was delicious so were the breakfasts. Close bus stop to get into Valletta. Buy your bus pass at the airport. The pool was a great place to spend a late afternoon after touring around.

In the midst of festa season and a ridiculously hotter Summer, we found solace at Ta Bertu. The pool was the drawcard. The distance away from all the morning noise of the city was restful. I was hoping we would have the outdoor bungalow as we were on honeymoon and wanted to be able to swim late into the night. Accommodation, charming, friendly and always treat us like family. We've been there twice now and will be back next year also. Thank you Violet and Albert and the grandchildren who played in the pool with us. We had a great stay xx

Our hostess, Violet, was very kind and hospitable. Her husband gave us a ride to the airport for a reasonable rate, and the pool and breakfast were lively..

The landlady one day was complaining of our water usage..She was sceaming at my wife and I.We became paranoid using the bathroom.We cut down on its usage.The problem is the toilet bowl not flushing properly.Besides we didn't know our water usage was being monitored.We felt there was a discrimination involved.There was also a questionable city tax,i thought it was all included even it iwas not much.It made us very uncomfortable.

this was one of the best places we stayed on our trip, the family was very warm and friendly going out of their way to help us and make us comfortable. the room its self was great and the grounds were beautiful! it was cold when we went so they were redoing the pool and i envy the people that will get to swim in it!

Family run B&B in home with garden and pool. Lovely family atmosphere, home cooked evening meal with family, wines from own vineyard. Continental breakfast with plenty of variety and a chance to chat to other guests. Very close to main bus route to airport and Valletta. Not ideal for persons with mobility problems due to stairs, and bathrooms not having walk-in showers, otherwise great value and very helpful proprietors.

If you want to stay off the beaten path with a great family this is the place. You will be eating at their kitchen table and truly see the culture. Great owners and fabulous place to stay. Awesome pool on site with homemade wine and olives to enjoy. Highly recommend staying this them. This place was so remote they personally had to come pick us up from the airport because our flight got in too late for the public bus, but again very helpful family.

Ta' Bertu is a charming family run B&B and you'll be given a warm welcome by your hosts. I stayed in a separate secluded building on the farm which was simple and pleasant. There's no TV in the room although that didn't bother me and the weather was perfect despite the poor weather forecast. All in all a lovely stay on the friendly island of Malta.

Although the house is not in the most picturesque location, it is a really handy base for exploring the island by car. The house itself is really homely and they have some lovely antiques. Our room was basic, but had a great air con system for which we were very grateful! Bathroom could do with a freshen up. Lovely pool and garden with a whirly gig which guests can use for swimwear and towels. Highlights were Violet's homemade jams and meeting the hosts and their lovely grandchildren! They also allowed us to stay by the pool a little while after checkout which was great.

Very warm welcome from Albert & Violet. They try to make you feel a part of the family. Stayed 10 days but almost moved out after three due to the loud music on the first weekend emanating from wedding do's 300 yards away - music went on until 2 am. This was not repeated so stayed for the duration. Our accommodation was not in the main house but in a small. dark, cool en suite annex. Our shady patio was very pleasant, but we were not confined to using this space only. Location for visiting the south and central parts of the island was excellent.
