Friendliness of every member of staff - quality of good and drink was superb

Amazing hotel with great food and lovely staff. They couldn’t do enough to help us and I really can’t rate this hotel high enough.

Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable, breakfast was above average. Room - bed was comfortable but bathroom/wash facilities were very cramped.

Comfortable and clean. Lovely decor. Beautiful Oriental restaurant which serves fab food and the best English breakfast made with local produce. Great little market town.

Toilet not evacuating. We had to wait 3 hours for the plumber. Not hot water for our morning shower.

Bathrooms and corridors could be updated but ither than that, very comfortable, great service, restaurant decor was fab, breakfast was 5*

These are rooms above a Chinese restaurant which is the primary business. I found the bed very comfortable but rooms are very dated. The bathroom was very poor condition , tight to get in and toilet up against wall, several wall tiles missing. Floor coverings most areas look old. Just not a great experience for the money. Also the single room when I arrived was being advertised for £85 but I had paid £106.20, so leaves you feeling overcharged.

The staff were lovely and very helpful, rooms were clean and comfy, breakfast was wholesome.only problem we had was the bathroom sink water was really slow going down almost blocked

Always a great stay. Team are friendly and the restaurant is great.

Good nights sleep as usual. Seems to have gone down hill to me. The door handles were sticky, where there was glass or mirrors the were not cleaned in public places the lifts were dirty with fingerprints all over, things could have done with a deep clean, my room was clean and comfortuble. But I bought a pack of wet wipes and give the surfaces a good wipe, I told reception I left the room cleaner than it was when I arrived. Breakfast was not as good as my last visit. Sausage not good and the bacon had a strange tast to it. Could have been Cheep Oil but it wasn’t nice, I left mine. From last year it was dissapointing.

Lovely Chinese restaurant on the ground floor of the hotel. Excellent and friendly service.

No hot water. I've stayed here multiple times and this was the first time I've had this issue, but due to the early mornings / late nights I was using the shower, there was no one around to report this to, so I just had to suck it up. There was a thick layer of dust in the bathtub also. Car park needs some work. Had to move large cages out of the EV charging spot to use, and markings very faded meaning other cars parking way too close to EV area, making it difficult to have enough room to connect. But I will stay here again, and hopefully have hot water next time. Otherwise it's a great B&B at a reasonable price. I just think I was a little unlucky this visit that I had a few issues.

Our stay was amazing! The staff were incredible, very informative and helpful. Free breakfast, free parking in a safe car park and a lovely little town. Only issue we had was the water turned cold fairly quickly. Opt for a shower rather than a bath

I loved my stay here! I was travelling for business. Wish I could stay more often, highly recommend. Super comfy bed, great shower, lovely staff and delicious breakfast with lots of options.
