I could not fault our stay. We arrived early and was allowed to park and return later to check in which was easy and smooth. On entering our room we were surprised by everything, the size of the room, the view, the size of the bed, the coffee machine, the bath in the room, table and chairs near the window it really did put a smile on our faces. On returning in the evening Luke advised us that we had been given a free upgrade, which explains the fantastic room. It is about a 20 min stroll into town although there is a tram stop out side the Hotel. Although the room was on the front it wasn't too noisy even with the windows open. All the staff we encountered were very pleasent. Plenty of options at the buffet breakfast. Parking is £7.50 which we thought was reasonable. All in all a very nice stay and have already booked to stay next year.

This hotel sits in the north close to the north pier and lovely view of the sea. We asked for a quiet room and that’s what we got very peaceful. The room was very clean albeit this particular room requires upgrading. I believe some or most of the rooms have been. The hotel general area was modern and spotless. There is a lift and stairs. Great staff! The two young people in dining area were hard working and efficient. Heard the young girl staff member check in on an older lady and remind her how hot it would be today. So lovely to hear this and for her to take that time out to be kind. The reception staff great too! Bar area lovely place to sit and nice and cool in the hot weather. Main hotel toilets absolutely spotlessly clean - best I’ve seen in a long time! Breakfast was great choice covered all from cereal to hot items. There is car park but not large. Nice seating area outside too. It is pet friendly too and a couple we sat next to told us best hotel they had been at for ‘pet friendly’ overall good hotel and I would go back

Nice hotel close to the shops and trams to get around

The room was quite small, especially the bathroom, which lacked any counterspace whatsoever, and it was very inconvenient having to climb 3 steps just to get to the bathroom. I was really afraid of tripping and falling if I got up during the night. The bathroom was clean overall, except for a considerable amount of black mold and rust around the poorly positioned (useless) grab bars and on parts of the tub grout. The bed was comfortable though. The TV remote was very old and it was hard to figure out how to operate it since most of the lettering had completely rubbed off. The corridors are very narrow and outdated, and they also have inexplicable steps up and down along the way, making it hard to wrangle your luggage. The lift is very small - maybe 2 or possibly 3 could fit, if they don't have luggage. The breakfast was fairly limited in range but OK. Parking in the lot out front is also very limited. On the plus side, the staff were all very kind and helpful. All in all, I felt it was a poor value for the money (not that much cheaper than staying at the Hampton Inn or the new Holiday Inn Express), and I would not stay here again.

I had an early check in and a great room which took my mobility scooter . Staff was helpfull and went out of there way to make it easier for my disability. I will come again.

Clean room with a comfortable bed and everything was in it that I needed. The bathroom was just a little outdated. The staff weren't very welcoming either. Just a payment requirement rather than any form of customer etiquette.

Staff were incredibly unhelpful. Room was dirty. Room was not as advertised, was absolutely tiny.

Check-in was very fast and friendly. The Scottish man was very nice and got me checked in very quickly. The only other staff member I interacted with (had a beard) was doing the late shift and was very friendly as well. Location was pretty convenient and the cost was low. Only got 4 stars rather than 5 as it wasn't really a double bed but rather 2 single mattresses.

Great hotel with a good sized car park. The plus for us was how dog friendly it was . Only downside was the bedroom doors didn’t provide much soundproofing from the noise on the corridors .
