This is a nice hotel and we had a good stay. I thought the courtyard with pool were really nice. The staff were really nice and they upgraded us for free without us asking, which was super kind. The breakfast itself was really good, but it seemed to suffer from under staffing, poor flow, and lack of cutlery and dishes. The staff people seemed perpetually overwhelmed each morning, and they were constantly out of plates, bowls, and cutlery and you often had to wait for the dishwasher loads to be done to get a plate/bowl/spoon. The flow of the area was also chaotic, with everything in the centre and quite crowded. Overall it was fine, it was a nice breakfast, but it was I'd say all together it was the worst set up I've experienced. My husband found it so stressful the first morning that he skipped it thereafter. With a few changes it could be a lot better. That being said, I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We stayed recently in a 2 bedroom suite. We were 4 adults and 2 kids and it was a tight squeeze. But it was perfect for just the one night. The breakfast was delicious and breakfast staff were very friendly and helpful. Heather at the front desk was wonderful and friendly when we checked in. The pool was out of commission however that had been communicated to us a few days before which was greatly appreciated!

This was by far one of the worst hotel experiences I’ve ever had. I would give it 0 stars if I could. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was the smell. The hotel advertises itself as non-smoking, yet the room reeked of cigarette smoke mixed with a strong wet dog odor. It was overwhelming and made it difficult to even stay in the room. Cleanliness was absolutely unacceptable. There were flies everywhere, which immediately made us question the hygiene standards of the hotel. The bathroom was even worse. There was literal human feces left on the toilet, which is beyond disgusting and completely inexcusable. It was obvious that the room had not been properly cleaned before we arrived. The condition of the room was terrible as well. The ceiling was cracked, the toilet was cracked, and everything looked old, damaged, and poorly maintained. It felt neglected and nothing like the photos or what you’d expect from a hotel charging guests for a night’s stay. The front desk staff were also disappointing. The reception experience was unprofessional and unhelpful, making an already awful stay even worse. Instead of trying to resolve our concerns, we were left feeling like our complaints didn’t matter. Overall, the hygiene standards were nonexistent. Between the smoke smell, wet dog odor, flies, damaged room, and filthy bathroom, this hotel should not be renting these rooms out to guests. I would strongly recommend avoiding this place and spending your money elsewhere. There are far better hotels that actually care about cleanliness, maintenance, and customer service.

Arrived tired after a long road trip and was welcomed by Mark in the desk who was very helpful. Our room on the first floor was perfect, our car parked right outside. Our room was quiet, clean and comfortable. Mark called up a little while later to check all was ok. Breakfast was a treat in the morning. Highly recommend this hotel.

The worst Best Western Property we've ever been in. We're travelers and always stay with BW and this one in Penticton is our least favorite. The place is falling apart. The stairs are rusty and the linoleum flooring are breaking apart. The walls are super paper thin. U can feel the vibrations when people are walking outside. It doesn't help too when the housekeepers are pushing their carts at 6am in the morning. The blurred window in the washroom is big enough to see your upper body's silhouette so you're putting on a show everytime u go for a shower. The blackout curtains doesn't cover the whole window so it will definitely wake u up early in the morning in the middle of summer. There's one water dispenser and it's in the indoor pool area. It was never refilled/replaced the whole time we were there.
